I just got this camera but it came with no lens cap and I have no idea which one (any generic) would fit. Google isn’t helping. Can someone point me in the right direction?
XF100 bought off ebay as “good to go”. I notice a haze/glow/fuzziness around everything that my other XF100 doesn’t have. I reset all settings and custom profiles and it still has it regardless of settings. Lens from the outside looking in looked clean.
I think they encountered another group of people motivated by religious or ritual beliefs (not necessarily mansi).
My theory is that the hikers unknowingly entered an area of spiritual significance. I do not believe they were attacked simply for trespassing. I think they were observed from a distance and deliberately allowed to continue because the people watching them wanted them to reach a particular location. The destination itself was important.
One detail that stands out to me is the reference in the hikers' diaries to cloth tied around a cedar tree. While this does not identify who placed it there, it suggests that other people had been in the area before the expedition arrived. Combined with the route leading toward what has been described as one of the most sacred parts of the mountain, I think it is possible the group entered a place that held significance without realizing it.
The confrontation began only after the hikers had reached, or almost reached, the intended location. At that point, the attackers entered the tent and forced the group to leave together. I also think some of the hikers may have been restrained. This is based on the ante-mortem abrasions and bruising around the wrists and ankles found on several victims. These injuries are consistent with bindings.
From there, I believe the attackers attempted to move the entire group to another location. I think the hikers eventually resisted, which caused the group to split apart. This would explain why the bodies were found in separate locations rather than all together. The bruised knuckles, injuries to the hands, and facial trauma found on several victims also suggest that there was a physical struggle rather than a simple attempt to survive the elements.
I think two members of the group managed to reach the cedar tree, where they started a fire. One of them climbed the tree, possibly to see whether the attackers were still nearby or to locate them in the darkness and also gather branches for the fire. Another group escaped farther into the ravine, where I believe they hid and were eventually found by the attackers. The severe chest and rib injuries suffered by the ravine victims were, in my opinion, deliberately inflicted, although I cannot confidently explain the exact mechanism that produced such trauma without external signs. Igor Dyatlov and Rustem Slobodin were assaulted, and those injuries (skull) left them physically or mentally impaired. Unable to reach safety, they eventually died from hypothermia.
I also believe the removal of Lyudmila Dubinina's tongue may have been intentional and ritualistic. The presence of blood in her stomach, as recorded in the autopsy, leads me to believe she was still alive when at least some of the injuries to her mouth occurred.
One of the questions that has always bothered me is the lack of clearly documented footprints belonging to another group. If the hikers' tracks remained visible, why were no others identified? I think it is possible the attackers deliberately stepped within the hikers' tracks or that weather conditions prevented additional footprints from being recognized. Either explanation seems more reasonable to me than assuming there was no one else present.
The reason I believe a ritual motive is important is because I do not think a group of people would choose to ambush nine healthy, experienced hikers in temperatures approaching -30°C without an extraordinary reason. A random attack makes little sense. The attackers allowed the hikers to reach that location because they wanted them there. Everything that happened afterward was the result of the hikers resisting whatever the attackers intended to do next.
This theory is, by its nature, speculative. I cannot prove who the attackers were or exactly what their intentions were. However, I believe it provides a coherent explanation for why the group left the tent, why they separated, why several victims show injuries consistent with a struggle, and why some of the most severe injuries are difficult to reconcile with a simple accident. My goal is not to present this as a proven conclusion, but as a hypothesis that attempts to account for the available evidence within a single, consistent sequence of events. There was further evidence of other people being there (like a flashlight on top of their tent and a human made wooden build found near). The “fireballs” (hydrogen fuel) may have been an unrelated incident or it may have caused the initial alarm before they were attacked. Regardless of what actually happened, I think the military or the mansi know full well even if they’re not the ones responsible.
I really liked movies likeTrollhunter, Creep, Chronicle, The Frankestein Project, Devil’s Pass and Project Almanac.
I went in expecting a good movie but oh boy, it felt like so much more than that. Truly amazing. It captured the exact feeling I had reading it as a kid. I always had the tendency to imagine every story as what it would look like in real life (the fantasy aspects being more grounded and looking plausible) and I loved that uncanny feeling especially with monsters and gods. Every scene felt real and there were some really anxiety inducing ones. I loved it, honestly at a loss for words.
The mechanics are all clearly there. Maybe they’ll add an option to unequip swords from inventory in an update.
Thanks in advance. In UK or general European sites would do.

Up until today I ran an aternos server (paper 1.21.1) with geyser (I join from series s with app) and it worked perfectly until updated for bedrock 26.30 broke it. I even tried to download PaperMC and host it from my laptop with latest geyser versions but i still get the same error. I have soooo much stuff on that server, if anyone could help I would really appreciate it, Ive been trying since it dropped. I also tried installing latest papermc 26.2 on aternos and updating geyser. Is geyser not supporting the new update yet?
