Question for Estate Sale Owners

I’ve been chatting with a friend of mine and we have been really thinking of putting together some type of Estate Sale Convention. Is this something that you guys and gals would be interested in? It’s still super early in all the logistics but I’m just curious if any of you think this would be a good idea or are we just wasting our time? My new website for estate sale companies would sponsor the event but not sure if anyone would show up 😭. What do you think?

Check out this estate sale in Grand Prairie, TX The glass collection is amazing for anyone in the area. Some of the amber glass is glowing under a black light, I’ve never seen that!

First date Estate Sale Shopping

A friend the other day asked me for ideas on what to do on a first date and I told him to take her estate sale shopping. He laughed and said, she would hate that and that it would be so boring, but does anyone else think it’s a great first date. I know I have a blast going with my girlfriend and we’ve been together forever.

I will always regret not getting this

Ahhhh, I should have bought it, I had it in my hand and said, it’s a little pricey and now I have non-buyer remorse!!! This is just your reminder, just buy it, don’t regret it later!!

Is this a good idea?

I have been trying to help my friend come up with better ideas to help promote the second and third day of the estate sales. As many of you know, the first day is the best day, but by the second day and even the 50% off last day, the traffic has really slowed down. He thinks it’s because most people think everything good is gone, and I told him that he should just mark items sold so that people gain confidence in his sales. He thinks marking things sold will deter even more people from showing up. What do you guys think? Also, I finally convinced him to make this video that shows cool things that are still left. Sorry for the long post but if you guys have any cool ideas on how to increase second and third day traffic, I would love to hear about it. Thank you!!

Meet Paper Mache Jose, this is easily top 3 of my favorite finds ever at an estate sale, best $3 I’ve ever spent!

Also, shameless and stupid plug, I started a new instagram account where I’m animating items I’ve found at estate sales if anyone wants to follow a completely moronic account that I happen to love 😂 @ianimatethriftfinds on instagram

I love it when my friend asks me to help him price things out at the estate sales he holds. I like to make sure I have a little fun with the labeling. What do you guys think? Accurate?

I just wanted to share an estate sale I’m helping with that starts Wednesday April 29th through Friday May 1st. I’m helping my friend Joe that owns Milone Vintage Estate Sales and although it’s by appointment only, I’m telling you this sale has some amazing things especially if you’re into military items. Here’s the listing https://www.estatesales.net/FL/Clearwater/33759/4892907 , I’ll be there so it would be cool to meet some of you!
