Where can I (25F) make new girl friends locally, without using those Timelft type apps?

Heya! I’m keen to make some more local friends around my age (+/- 3 years) as my close friends live hours away ☹️ (I live in Morley for reference).

I’ve seen ads for those Timeleft dinners but I‘ve heard that people use it as more of a dating thing which I’m not looking for as I’m in a relationship.

I’ve also considered booking onto a pre-arranged girls’ group trip abroad where you go knowing nobody and are kind of forced to make new friends within the group… but I don’t think I’m quite confident enough for that yet 😅

I’m looking for advice/recommendations for places to go or events to attend in & around Leeds to form more connections and possibly develop friendships?

I’d honestly try anything but I don’t have a car so I’d be relying on public transport 💩. Something low stakes/chilled would be best initially. Thank you in advance 💗

PS: I’m a pretty standard girl tbh. I work 8am-4pm mon-fri. I enjoy brunch, the gym, walks, wine, dancing, karaoke, beginner level/ just for fun sports, deep conversations, going out for dinner, getting dressed up, baking, playing guitar, singing, comedy, board games, brain games (sudoku, crossword etc), animals, movies etc etc!

If you see this post and you’re personally interested in doing something then defo send me a message 💛

This weekend is supposed to bring strong winds across the island so I’m wondering where the best place to be during this is to avoid the biggest gusts but capitalise on sunshine!

Maybe Lindos or St Paul’s bay?

Thanks in advance!
