What can I do to save these :(

My mother propagated from my childhood home and planted these at my new home. They did great for a little over a month. They had new growth and bloomed. I watered regularly and added plant fertilizer occasionally. Recently in the past 3ish weeks they have lost all color, first turning green and are now browning. Zone: 7a (According to the new 2023 map) Zone: 6b (According to the 2012 map). Porch faces north west. Last photo is from June 28th and today is August 19th.

Fragrance Free (or accommodating) Hotels or ones to avoid

After traveling recently and having a time with AIRBNBS and fragrance I thought it would be nice if we had a list of hotel chains that don’t use scent machines or are accommodating. I know most use scent in their lobby but when they pump it through all of their HVAC it’s just unbearable.

Dairy and knee pain

Does anyone else get joint pain from dairy? I’m wonder if it’s due to inflammation? I have been trialing reintroducing milk and butter recently and after a few days have noticed knee pain and my knees popping when walking up stairs. Which I before my diet became very limited.

Are small flares a good way to prevent a big histamine dump?

I’ve been having a lot of what I call “mini flares” recently. I can eat a bite of something and it comes on in a few minutes and is gone in 15 minutes. I’m wondering if having multiple small flares is a way to let my bucket gently empty and can prevent having a big dump?

How to find the find the root cause of your gut issues?

Can anyone recommend any tests they have done with a doctor or independently? I’ve seen people talk about gut microbiome tests. I’ve found some just by googling but if there is a site someone can specifically suggest would be helpful!

I’m getting more and more sensitive and I just don’t know where to start because I react to everything. I only have two foods I don’t react to. My dietitian is having me try hypoallergenic formulas to get vitamins and nutrients, once I find one that works I hope to be able to reintroduce foods to heal my gut.

What foods have you all found the easiest to reintroduce when you are very limited. I know everyone is different but I’m trying to get ideas. I’m down to only two foods I can have, rice and chicken. My nutritionist is having me trial amino acid based hypoallergenic formula. I’m hoping once that goes well I can do something easy like oats or a veggie. I tried bell pepper the other day and had a reaction. I thought they would have been okay because a month ago I was eating a lot of bell peppers and cabbage. Plus bell peppers have high vitamin c.
