Sea of polymorphine would be better deterrent than cursed rock and sea of lava

I might pause mid-transit right in the wall of cursed rock to leisurely review my spells to check what I am actually looking for, bathe in acid or swim through lava as it is faster than digging through rock, but that single pink pixel lurking somewhere scares me.

I found a suprisingly fun random wand!

It also had random electricity weakness added into the mix which I've taken out, but otherwise unchanged. I got it just in Snowy Depths and it is just the right tool for clearing it.

Found a fun app - noita map viewer!

You can analyze & compile it yourself, it is open source (and pretty simple):
https://github.com/pudy248/NoitaMapViewer

The app allows to see current state of the world, so you can retrace your steps and admire destruction left behind.

Regarding these screens, it is what happens with double glass cannon and explosion immunity.

(and admittedly some save scumming, I just love milking that run)

Some explosions are so big the fire doesn't even have a chance to dissipate because it is too far away.

One of the biomes got erased almost fully. I didn't like the snipers anyway.

The ones with tunnels - I generally play without a map, so it took me a while to find hell, and on the way out upwards, I accidentally filled it with lava. Sorry hell denizens...

I always struggle with ortho.

I apologize for my complete lack of drawing skill.

Whever I look at a cuboid like this, and for whatever reason I do not have grid enabled, my mind grinds to a halt.

2x Glass Cannon + 1 HP + magic arrow with trigger + PROPANE

^(I had to.)

Action from around 0:15

I never cared about Luminous Drill. Today Noita decided to give me an example why I should.

The wand basically carries me right from the very beginning. Never felt as safe in Hisii Base as today.

[Question] In a hunt of yellow dial, but non-diver watch - am I missing anything?

Hello,

I am looking for a yellow-dial watch with simple, non-diver aesthetics. No bezel, up to 39, perhaps 40mm, up to about $2k.

Perfect example would be the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36mm in yellow, but this is a whole order of magnitude beyond what I am willing to pay for a watch now. Maybe in next 10 years, dunno.

Anyway - The options I know about:

  • Yellow Citizen Tsuyosa - would be perfect if it was not so bulky, I have tiny 16cm wrists and *thin* 40mm watches are okay, but the Tsuyosa is not. It dominates my wrist.
  • Christopher Ward C63 Sealander 36mm Forest Yellow - Would be a perfect match if not the fact it is almost impossible to get one, there were only 200 made.
  • Halios Seaforth Bahama Yellow - Same case as with the CW, great but just not available.
  • Formex Essence 39 yellow - Do all yellow watches have to be limited editions...? Plus I think it'd be still too bulky.
  • Sinn 556 citrine yellow LE - it is some sort of "dirty yellow" or "died citrine" if anything. Good watch, not yellow in the right way.
  • Seiko 5 "Mumbai Special" - like this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/137275914586?chn=ps&_ul=GB&google_free_listing_action=view_item Dirt cheap, but just no. Aesthetics wise though, perfectly fine.
  • Doxa SUB 200 Divingstar - Might be sub 200, but is over 40, and by quite a bit - 42mm.
  • Baltic Hermetique Summer Yellow - Eh? Kinda? Maybe? Can't say I am a fan of the dial design, it is a bit busy with the black racetrack around the yellow...

Is there anything I am missing? Microbrands are fine. Vintage...? Depends how much wintage, I guess.

Does TDA have any horror elements in it?

I think it is the first Doom game I am playing - albeit I am only in about 1/3 of it - which is completely devoid of that horror aspect Doom is known for. Or maybe, somewhat scary yet solemn one, remember Phobos Anomaly opening with Sign of Evil? Or how in Doom 2016 you see progressive collapse of the whole base, with gorier and gorier things starting to happen? Or how in Eternal you see ravaged Earth, with quite a few times to gaze at the destruction, then empty Sentinel worlds?

TDA is just pure action and action only. There's some story in the background but eh, story was never too important in Doom. You could feel it though in the environment, as much as it was possible back then and much better in modern instances.

With all that said: does this change later on? As I said, I am quite early in the game, so would not be surprised if it started to change tone a little bit later.

Everything here has its place on the wrist.

The Junghans chrono is my work watch, I have a desk job, so both its chrono function actually gets some uses, and relative delicateness due to acrylic crystal doesn't matter much. Plus black is always classy.

Mido Oceanstar 39 - The tough one. A watch which I don't have to worry anything would happen to it, plus its clasp with ratcheting extension is a godsent for when the wrist swells up.

Seiko Cocktail Time Negroni (with custom bracelet) - Probably the first to be replaced, but for now it gets some wrist time when I need a splash of red. Plus it is quite comfortable, and the mineral crystal is good enough in practice.

Certina DS-1, my very first watch. I went through quite a few straps/bracelets for it, and eventually settled on this wonderfully thin and comfortable one. Very light and easily the most comfortable, and I love the green.

As a side bonus, this is also a [SOTB] - the box itself is my own DIY project and I am quite happy how it turned out in this last iteration.
