I got in my first car accident today at 34 years old, thanks to a chick in her massive truck with a horse trailer attached.

I was at a red light that is literally across the street from my house. I feel my car jolt forward and my 14 month old daughter starts wailing from being startled. I pull into the gas station on the corner and so does the chick. I see her get out of her truck and shes already sobbing. I’m making sure my baby is okay and I get out of my car feeling enraged, but I also have empathy for her. (I’m pregnant, so I guess my hormones made me feel bad for her? lmao.) Shes apologizing, asking if we are okay, and telling me shes having such a bad day, bc she JUST spent $2k at the vet for her horse with a broken leg. I wanted to say, “Girl, fuck your horse 😭”, but I told her “shit happens, I’m just glad we are okay!“

We are waiting for a cop to come and do an accident report. Some guy pulls in behind me to get gas and apologizes for getting so close to my car and I’m like, “Its okay, its already dented.” Hes laughing, she starts balling again. I tell her I gotta use humor so I don’t cry. 😅 My husband calls me and is worried about us and angry at the situation. Again, using humor I say, “Women drivers, am I right?” but he was too concerned to even chuckle 😂

Thankfully, a real nice cop shows up, does the reports, and gives me my license back. He tells me the photo on mine is fabulous 💅🏻 and I drive home after. I wanted to cook dinner, but macaroni salad and Zevia it is since my nerves are shook up still. I also can’t stop hugging my baby. 😭

Thank goodness hoyas are resilient.

Winter took its toll on ALL of my plants, even though they were brought inside. I lost 14 hoyas, dischidias, etc. My husband got me a greenhouse and I immediately put them all in there in March. My variegated multiflora is making an amazing comeback. Along with all of my plants.

Any fellow Kimnachii owners?

I don’t think I’ve seen any posts of this one. Mine was so big, I was selling propagations of her, but winter took its toll on ALL my plants. Shes bouncing back, though. 💗 Thankful for a greenhouse lol
