Kurz und knackig: Die Eltern meines Partners haben ein Haus gekauft und es steht an, dass wir dort einziehen werden mit normalem Mietvertrag und vergünstigter ortsüblicher Miete.

Nun ist es so, dass seine Eltern darauf bestehen, dass er alleiniger Mieter des Hauses wird, damit ich im unwahrscheinlichen Fall einer Trennung nicht rechtliche Schritte einleiten kann um dort wohnen zu bleiben.
Das kann ich aus der Sicht seiner Eltern zwar verstehen, aber liege ich richtig mit der Annahme, dass ich in solch einem Fall auch einfach von heute auf morgen obdachlos werden kann, weil ich quasi nur Gast bin? Ich bin dann ja sozusagen komplett abhängig.

Wenn ja, welche Lösungen hat man für so einen Fall? Würde ein Untermietvertrag das Problem lösen?
Mein Wissensstand ist der, dass bei einem geteilten Mietvertrag beide Mieter kündigen müssen und es dann am Vermieter liegt, ob der eine dort wohnenbleiben dürfte, auch ohne Mieterhöhung usw. Das wäre ja aber alles kein Problem, da es seine eigenen Eltern sind oder übersehe ich dort etwas?

Moin, ich suche tatsächlich einfach eine Erklärung der Win-Challenges. Ich habe länger kein PS geschaut und habe gestern das neue Video Sep vs Jay gesehen, hat mir gut gefallen.

Daraufhin habe ich auf YouTube einfach nach "Pietsmiet Win Challenge" gesucht und zwei Playlist gefunde, eine von PS Live und eine vom Hauptkanal mit Namen Juni 25. Bin gerade im Fall Guys Video und ich weiß, dass das ursprünglich Livestreams waren. Jetzt hat aber zB Chris ein Overlay für Siege in Battlefront mit der Zeit die es gedauert hat, dann hat Brammen aber ein anderes Overlay mit zB Minecraft was allerdings nicht mit in der Playlist ist, also wo ist das Video?

Irgendwie verwirrt mich das alles. Kann man die Sachen irgendwo zusammenhängender schauen? Es gibt ja auch so mehrere Stunden Videos von scheinbar anderen Win Challenges aber eigentlich würde ich gerne einfach die Sachen in der vorhergesehen Reihenfolge sehen ohne raten zu müssen was zu welcher Challenge gehört. Natürlich am liebsten auch mit den Sichten der anderen, also gecuttet. Aber irgendwie ist das alles sehr durcheinander oder bin ich einfach zu blind?

EDIT: Bei vielen Videos steht auch gar nicht mit dran, dass es zu der Challenge gehört. Vielleicht bin ich einfach zu alt aber würde das tatsächlich ganz nice zum Zuordnen finden, wenn man das eben ein paar Monate später schaut

Hey, so my dad has recently retired and life has become boring. I have introduced him to streaming services, but he hasn't used any yet, I gave him my Netflix and Prime, plus all the normal extra TV channels he has (we are German, so there is a lot).

So he loves Star Trek, especially Deep Space Nine, but the newer ones are not really his cup of tea. He's also a huge Star Wars fan, but mainly the old movies.

I would love to be able to show him something new he doesn't know yet. My feeling is that a series would be good, preferably one that is built one story per episode in one specific universere with other species. But also feel free to suggest anything different as long as it "kind of fits the vibe". I'm unsure if he'd be willing to watch a series where the plot forms over several seasons as he has never watched something like that, but maybe it's worth a try.

He does know English but if it is a more popular series and therefore has German as an dub option, that would be absolutely great!

ich wollte mich auf eine Stelle bei der Hochbahn bewerben und dort wird direkt nach einer Gehaltsvorstellung gefragt. Ich weiß, dass die Hochbahn nach eigenem Tarifvertrag zahlt und das auch mit ver.di so verhandelt ist, auf deren Webseite zum Thema sind allerdings keine Tabellen, Downloads oder irgendwas entsprechendes verfügbar (auch wenn es so angegeben ist).

Hat irgendwer vielleicht Zugriff auf die neuen Tabellen ab März 2026? Ich weiß nicht wie gut es ankommt, wenn ich denen sage "ich will nach dem üblichen Tarif bezahlt werden" ansatt ne Summe zu nennen..

Hey there folks! A few days ago I made this post about a full studio I was thinking about buying.
Thanks to your help I got a better overview of the prices and got the guy down to 800€ (around $910). However I ended up not taking the offer since it still seemed a bit high, there were not many tools and adding up the drive, at least one over night stay etc would have brought the total up to 1000 at least.

Anyways! I was extremely lucky to actually find a second offer of a similiar setup that was only a 30min drive away from me by a very sweet lady. Although it had less stained glass, it's a fully stocked workshop with new fully functional tools and everything ready for not just Tiffany works, but a lot of leaded window making (forgive me, I couldn't find the right English term for that), so a lot of textured and more transparent glass, but still more than enough "lamp glass" for a start. So now I bought a whole workshop for 700 and gained a new friend who is very excited to help me out if I need any help.
I'll be picking up everything soon, I'm very excited to share my new workspace with all of you!

I originally planned to get both The Martian and PHM Deluxe Edition as a gift for myself for Christmas. Yesterday I stumbled upon the US Deluxe Edition in my local bookstore in Germany and I must say I have given it a second thought.
Yes the painted edges are pretty and I like the potato cover, but the dustjacket just feels so cheaply made. As soon as I held the book it kind of started sliding off and all of them at the store had some serious damage to the dust jackets. Personally I am also just not a huge fan of how extremly shiny it is.
I know that if I would have done more research into the online listings I would have seen that it comes with the dust jacket, but the pictures I saw of it on Andy Weirs Instagram and the first adverts didn't give me the impression of a a flabby, shiny paper cover. I honestly thought it was all printed onto the hardcover with just a faint metallic effect if even one at all.

I guess a lot of you guys still really like the version it came out as and that is awesome, I honestly just expected something different. I am aware that it's a personal preference thing, but am I really the only one that misjudged the looks based on the advert pictures?

title already sums it up pretty well. I have had 2 playthroughs without any mods and have recently done all there is to do in SVE (Stardew Valley Expanded) mod. Now I am kind of looking for mods to add on top of SVE that just gives me even more areas, quests etc. I am not that much interested in new dialoge options, but if it's part of a mod that adds other stuff then all good. I am completely open to install several new mods, as long as they kind of run together well.

Just started season 5 and I am a little bit confused by the ruling here. >!They were talking about not pressing any charges against June after she killed Fred, because the crime was not commited in Canada. I don't know much about law and stuff, but how come they could charge Fred and Serena with their crimes against June although they all happend in Gilead? I mean yes they are crimes against humanity, but so is killing someone I would expect?!<

ich bin 25 und hatte immer mal wieder größere Probleme mit den Zähnen, weil ich als Kind/Jugendlicher nicht richtig geputzt habe. Das ging so weit, dass zwei hintere Zähne wurzelbehandelt werden mussten. Diese Behandlung ist seit 1,5 Jahren abgeschlossen und auch so dokumentiert.
Ich bin bei der TK versichert und wollte mir jetzt bei der Envivas eine Zusatzversicherung holen, bin Student und das klang erstmal günstig.

Jetzt wurde mir nach 2 Monaten Wartezeit endlich geantwortet, dass sie mir nur ein Angebot stellen bei dem ich sogar mehr zahlen soll als anfangs geplant und die beiden Zähne für alle Behandlungen in der Zukunft ausgeschlossen sind. Gerade hier für wollte ich sie allerdings abschließen, da die Ärzte meinte, dass da häufig nochmal im späteren Leben was passiert, auch wegen möglichen Prothesen.

Ist das einfach normal und vermutlich wird mir eh keine Versicherung die beiden Zähne versichern oder ist das bei einer abgeschlossenen Behandlung eher unüblich?
Würde mich auch über kostengünstige Versicherungen freuen, die solche Zähne mitversichern.
