Digo isso como um cara que praticamente só assiste copa do mundo, então talvez até tenha uma razão pra não fazerem isso que eu não saiba, mas a nível de entretenimento pelo menos não tem nada pior do que passar 90 minutos pra ver um 0-0 onde nada acontece, e até jogos onde coisas acontecem como o 1-1 de ontem seriam bem melhor com uma conclusão.

You can fix your mistakes, choose the winning lottery numbers, avoid an accident, or whatever, and you will live out those five years normally in whatever manner you want using the knowledge however you like.

The catch? As soon as the clock hits the exact moment you took the deal you lose all the memories of those five years you lived in the current timeline, and have no memory of the entity or the deal either.

From your perspective, it would be like if you were doing whatever you were doing before reading this post, and then, in the blink of an eye, you will find yourself in whatever situation you put yourself in at the end of those five years.

All your memories from the past five years are from the "old timeline" and differ from everyone else in the world. For example, if you found yourself a billionaire you will have no idea how that happened, if you get arrested you will have no memory of doing any crime, if you find yourself married to the partner of your dreams, you won't have any idea who they are if they weren't someone you knew before, and even if you do, your memories will mismatch.

You are not immune to the side effects that may come from this discrepancy, like thinking you're going insane, that you're in a dream, having a crashout, or anything like that, but it is not guaranteed either, you may just take it in stride and figure out calmly what is going on, or anything between those extremes depending on your personality, but you will never remember having met the entity or making the deal.

You also can't prepare yourself for the mindwipe in anyway, other than maybe choosing a nice spot to be when the time happens. Things like telling anyone about the deal, leave any records or hints for yourself, or things like that are forbidden. The entity is all knowing and the contract works more on the spirit of the deal than the letter, so loopholes are impossible.
