P. Transvaalicus takes down a dubia
My ptrans gave that dubia a generous amount of venom and despite all that it managed to land a kick on my fat tail scorp's face in the end

Just recently gave all of my pet Ts and desert scorpions their own names and I also finally gave my Salmon Pink Birdeater a name after a long while of keeping her and I have decided to call her Lilith! I think it's a nice name and suits her well :D and here are some close up shots of Lilith after giving her water just now

What do you guys name your pet Ts?
Just got a pair of 2 instar Hottentota Flavidulus today! So tiny and feisty
My first art of the year and also my fave repo monster:
THE ROBE!!
Currently have 2 of them and both are male judging from both their pectines, not fully grown yet.

- 1st pic 5 instar
- 2nd pic+ is 6 instar (freshly molted)
A before and after transformation of my L. Parahybana!
She went from brownish tan to striking black after her last molt and here are some pics that I took of her recently and it's just soo cool seeing her, keeping her as she ages into maturity! She is much bigger, thicker and more robust now than before

More molts to come and more roaches for her to take down hehe
There are some black spots on the pectines of my Leirus Quinquestriatus, not sure what these are but my scorp has them for months now i thought it was just debris at first but I'm getting worried, is this mycosis?

Species:
- H. Tamulus
- H. Jayakari
- P. Transvaalicus

had fun feeding and taking pictures of these hot fellas I have in my care hehe
I just had an urge to sketch this monster after finishing watching Iron Lung because the eel just looks so cool and chilling every time it appears on screen! Can't finish this in one sitting tho since its my first time drawing in a long time and my wrist hurt nyahah
100/10 movie btw, solid watch!
Anyone here has an experience of keeping Heterometrus longimanus?
I just want to ask how long do they live? Like from scorpling to adulthood till the end? (Photo of my Heterometrus Longimanus, 2022)
just want to share my fave T, can't wait for it to grow much bigger heh
