I'm new to Dream Theater. Tell me what I need to know!

Hello!

So for context, I've been listening to Pull Me Under for years, and I love it. I also have Images and Words on CD, but I haven't listened to it much. I'm familiar with Mike Portnoy and John Petrucci, and I know they're amazing musicians. I'm also familiar with Mike Mangini for his time in Annihilator, which is one of my favorite metal bands.

Recently, I was told about Under a Glass Moon and wow, it's truly amazing. I'm in love with it. I've since listened to Images and Words multiple times. It's inspired me to do a full deep dive.

So I'm going to listen to every single DT album for the first time (besides IaW of course).

Is there anything I should know or be aware of? Any favorites you guys love? Anything you guys hate? Or would it be best to go in completely blind? Just curious.

Thank you all!

Are these scams? Or are they legit?

Hello,

I recently got into the world cup stickers because I enjoy stickers, sports, and collecting things, so it's a perfect fit. I don't have many stickers though, I just bought a starter kit at Walmart last week with 10 packs. However, I've really been wanting more.

I live in a pretty remote area, so there aren't any retailers nearby with stickers, so I've resorted to looking online.

I've seen a TON of listings on ebay of 50/100 pack boxes being sold for $35-$45 from sellers from the United States and mostly China. A lot of them have similar pictures in the listing to each other.

Are these scams? Or do they actually deliver the product? I figured you guys would know more than me on this topic.

Ebay has a really good money back guarantee policy, and it's worked in my favor many times (lots of scammy sellers out there), so I'm not worried about losing my money here too much. But no sense in buying if I know I won't get the product.

Thank you all!

Happy 43rd Birthday to Metal Magic!

Metal Magic, Pantera's debut album, came out on June 10th, 1983, which is 43 years ago today.

Whether you like it or not, this is the album that started it all.

Diamond Darrell (not Dimebag) was only 16 years old when this album was released. Vinnie was 19. Terry Glaze was their singer (also 19). Rex Rocker (yep, that was his name) was also 19 on bass.

We all know the cover is goofy, but going back and listening to this, there's some solid things here. You can hear some little baby Darrell riffs that remind you of his later form. I highly recommend a listen if you haven't heard it yet, just to say you've listened to it (as well as the other Glamtera albums).

For those who have listened to this record, what's your favorite song from it? Mine is "Widowmaker". I actually really like the main riff to that track. Super catchy.

Anyways, happy 43rd birthday to this trailblazing album!

He-Man Prints Getting Removed?

So I just saw the new He-Man movie on Sunday (which was awesome by the way), and it made me want to look for some cool He-Man statues, figures, etc that I could print.

There were a TON on MakerWorld. I scrolled for a long time, saved all the ones I liked (which were 15 different models), and then said: "Alright, let's pick one to actually make".

When I went to my collections, I went to click on one to download, and it said it was removed or deleted. "That's weird", I said. Clicked on another one. Same thing. Then I refreshed my collection page.

"15 unavailable models are hidden".

Did MakerWorld just happen to go through and remove 90% of He-Man-related models last night while I was searching for them? They're still not available as of today.

Some of them had hundreds of downloads and had been on the site for a long time, so it's weird that they would just remove them out of nowhere.

Just curious if you guys know any more about the situation than I do.

Thank you!

Is there any legitimacy to this MK2 (2027) article?

This is the article in question: https://mortalkombatfanon.fandom.com/wiki/Mortal_Kombat_2_2027

I understand that it's a fan wiki, but it names many kharacters and kameo fighters, and I'm wondering where this person got this information from. Is it total bunk? Or are there some leaks out there confirming this?

I figure you guys would know more than me.

If some of this is true (Nightwolf, Kabal, Kano, etc), I would be very excited.

Thank you!

Can I Delete Everything from COD HQ?

Hello, I've been wanting to delete COD HQ because I never plan on playing Warzone, and I just want to play MWIII Multiplayer. I know I can do that without losing access to MWIII since they got separated last year.

However, within the COD HQ application, I noticed that there is an MWIII Multiplayer Pack, and MWIII Shared Content Packs 1, 2, and 3. Can I delete those as well? Or are those necessary to play multiplayer on MWIII?

I know it sounds like they're necessary, but sometimes COD is weird about making us download things we don't need. And they take up quite a bit of space, so I thought I'd ask.

For reference, I am on PS5, and I am using the disc version of MWIII.

Thank you!

Game Keeps Trying to Make Me Buy It When I Already Own It

I purchased MWIII (2023) for my PS5 on disc last year. I played it for about 25 hours. I then later deleted it to save space and download a different game.

Yesterday, I re-downloaded all the necessary content to play MWIII Multiplayer (Multiplayer Pack and Shared Content Packs 1, 2, and 3). Now, when I go to play the game, with the disc in my PS5 system, it redirects me to the PlayStation Store to buy the game for $69.99.

I have tried resetting the game, resetting my PS5, restoring licenses to the game, and ejecting/re-entering the game disc. It still won't let me play the game unless I pay for it. I already own the game, and as I said, I've played it for 25 hours already.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Thank you!

Is it smarter to get new player cards or to get play cards for existing players?

I'm still kinda new to this app and the whole card-collecting side of things. The most rax I've ever had at one time is like 350. I usually spend 200 as soon as I get to 300.

But I have a question. Is it smarter to spend 200 on a new player for an ongoing sport, or to get a plays pack for that player?

For example, I got a Yordan Alvarez card just over three weeks ago. Lately, I've just been buying play packs in order to level him up and get more rax per game he plays. Should I be buying other players instead? Or do both?

Just wondering if any of you guys have a system that works best for you and earns the most rax.

Thank you!
