UPDATE: he is out, I used pliers to crack it. The scales on his back and stomach are completely gone and there’s an indentation where he got caught, he’s in a holder container filled with tannins.

So my main fishtank literally EXPLODED with I think nerite snails and there’s millions of babies hoarding the corners of the fishtank .. I know that bluey’s can eat snails. Are they safe to feed to my girl?
this is my 14 gallon that i’m moving my community tank into since the 10 gallon they are currently in is getting too small. My plants won’t stay alive and I know the algae is a problem i’m getting bottom feeders and shrimp .. but how do I keep these guys alive??
I read that adult blue tongues need a lot of burrowing room - which she has, I have a 6 foot tank but i’m wanting to spruce the substrate up … what’s the best burrowing substrate for northern bluey’s? (that’s not play sand)
So for reference, i’ve had apollo for over 3 years now. She’s the sweetest girl ever and she LOVED to be held, she would go in my shirt and sleep in there and would just overall like to be on me…
But not anymore. She’s been super aggressive lately and I don’t know why, I’ve was sick for 7 months and could not handle her regularly due to low immunity, could that have added to it? I can’t even touch her now without her trying to rush my hands and or bite me .. I want my sweet girl back:(

Hi everyone, so I got this baby betta last tuesday. I’ve never had a baby before so beforehand I did a lot of research..They said to feed 3 times a day. So I did, but I noticed her getting big - I’m sure this isn’t pine coning since her scales aren’t sticking out, she might just be overweight?? What do you guys think and how should I fix this

Okay so reference, I got this baby betta about 4 ish days ago. She wasn’t doing too hot and had swim bladder disease that I am still treating. Her swim bladder is so much better but now she has these spots..black dots on her head and black patches on her body. I’m curious to know if it’s a parasite (and if it is, how do I treat it?) Or just her developing color. Please help.
