Do you refer to stadiums by their historical name or their current name?

This question stems from a recent conversation I had with a coworker. They had just gotten back from a trip to Chicago and mentioned how they caught a game at Rate Field. I am not from Chicago (I'm from the southeast), but as a baseball fan, the stadium where the white Sox play is Comiskey Park. I wasn't even a concious human by the time that name was retired, but nonetheless it's the name I've associate with the CWS stadium (I'm late 20s). It was very strange to hear it referred to as something else.

Do you use the historical or current name when referring to a ballpark?

Why is this intersection so difficult for drivers?

Southbound Broadway and 18th in downtown. Every traffic light cycle, like clockwork, cars on Broadway go way past the stopping line and block cars continuing on 18th.

I am a civil engineer that works in roadway design. The intersection is designed fine; it's clear where one is supposed to stop, there is signage all over the place, it's not a design issue. So why do people lose it here?? Do they get distracted by the church or the mural on the parking garage right next to it?

Tapas?

Want to start this by saying that gf and I are faithful patrons to the 9th door in Capitol Hill, it's perhaps our favorite restaurant in the entire city. However, nos encantan las tapas and we've been looking to broaden our prospects.

Tried Ultreia at Union Station last night. It was okay but nothing we considered wow worthy.

Have heard El Five is good, but never tried. Not the biggest fans of the highlands but would try if truly great.

Any other good tapas options around town? Even anywhere else in the state? Foco, Boulder?

How long have you been consuming Bill's content?

I know there will be the OGs out there that will say they read his column back in the day, which is tight. I started listening to the pod around 2019, I didn't really understand the concept behind a podcast before that point. As I've listened over the years, there is a lot of old work that Bill refers to that became necessary content consume if you want the full simmons experience. Obviously read the book of basketball (not a fan of the footnotes, but otherwise great book), and have gone back and read some archived Grantland material.

If you've been on the train for a long time, how has Bill changed?

Looking for route recommendations for Denver, CO to Duluth, MN

Later this summer I will be touring from Denver, CO to Duluth, MN. I'll be spending some time up there upon arrival and then will fly or drive back to Denver.

I'm looking for any input on good routes to take (and places to avoid) between these locations. Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota. I'm okay with going somewhat out of the way for good riding, but I also don't want to add on an extra thousand miles. TIA!

Searched the sub but didnt see anything on this directly.

I'm wondering what people's experience has been using the card to book a rental card abroad. Was the cred card insurance coverage accepted by the rental company? Did you still have to buy additional coverage? How was the overall experience?

I live around downtown Littleton and have been trying to find mountain biking areas that I don’t need to go all the way west to the mountains. What options do I have in highlands ranch around this area that are open to the public? Thanks!

Edit: the east west trail seems to go through the backcountry area and is open to the public, is that right?
