Sunday scaries are back

Haven’t experienced those since pandemic, WFH Mon was the best for easing into the work week but now that’s gone. Will I ever fully enjoy a weekend again…

Why did those who heard begged at its first live performance think it was called “better luck next time”?

There is nothing in the song that would make me think that was the title (besides 1 line about being a penny in a fountain). If I heard it without knowing the title it’s still obviously “begged” right

House cleaners sticking chewing gum under my kitchen island?

5 years ago I bought my first home, a condo. It came with a nice movable kitchen island on wheels that is a matching set with my kitchen cabinets/countertop. At this same time I started using the previous owner's house cleaners. They have been great, giving me a nice clean place every 6 weeks for 5 years.

Today after they left, the island looked crooked so went down to unlock the wheels and realign it. I looked up...and was shocked to see chewing gum stuck under it. I looked around the under side of the island...and it's all over. I'm not the fist owner of this place so I thought maybe it's always been there? I'm not sure if I've ever taken a close look at the underside of my island. I went to see if I could remove it...and to my shock some of the pieces of gum immediately came off. Some of it has hardened and is hard to remove. Some of it...is stuck in crevices I can't reach. I'm in shock. This has to be the house cleaners right? Due to the soft gum there's no way it was the old home owners. I have friends over but I doubt they would do this. Do I contact the houscleaning service and complain? Do I set up a trap and catch them next time?

I've attached pictures, but this is after I've attempted a clean up, I should have taken pictures of the full damage. What do I do?

Update: first pic is bad putty, second pic is indeed bubble gum as confirmed by smell test. There's 5 pieces of gum remaining (removed about 4). At this point, I actually suspect my friend who is an avid bubble gum chewer and we drink together often. I will talk to him next time I see him in person. Then I will ask the cleaners to clean the remaining bubble gum if it is indeed him. I just didn't think people could be that gross in good friends' homes.
