Something I noticed abt the 26.5 update....

So, if you have a Mac on 26.5 and a MagSafe charger, and you have set a battery charge limit, the charger led shows green when charged to limit. It was always red in 26.4. Minor change, but pretty cool imo.

Apple Intelligence isn’t completely bad…

So I recently bought a MacBook M5 air and my iPhone was a 13 Pro which do not have access to Apple Intelligence, so I did not get to see any features. now that MacBook can use Apple Intelligence like most of the features are useless. image playground is just a gimmick. If I’m being honest, I really enjoyed summary because you could just select multiple paragraphs of text and just take the summary, especially if you’re reading the news and you don’t want to just read everything. I really enjoyed the Apple Intelligence rewrite function in writing tools. I was writing an essay and I just did not like the way a sentence sounded so I just decided to try out this feature and the sentence look instantly more better when I edited the new sentence.

I need some advice…

So I’m new to lucid dreaming. Earlier this year, I decided I wanted to get into it. Spent the whole month training, with two successful lucid dreams. Both dreams focussed on fear, for some reason. In the first one, I felt as if I have two different consciousness- one in dream and one out. When I got too scared of something, I reminded myself it’s just a dream, but still woke up. Not scared, just woke up. Second one same thing, only that I shouted in my head that it’s a dream, stayed a bit longer in the in between, and woke up.

How do I get longer dreams? I spent entire January trying to perfect it.Lucid dreams did not increase other than these two. However, the quantity of normal dreams did increase.

Why?

Guys, I just have a question. How, why do parents just start enforcing a lot of unnecessary rules when a child enters teenage hood ? Like, you know, bedtime by this time or, you know, switch off your phone by this time seems reasonable. But like, there are so many parents, especially in India, that are just like, no, you will not do that. No, you will not do this. No, you have to study exactly these many hours. No, you cannot go out with your friends. Why? Why? And like, whenever a teenager has their own views and they just want to express it, they're not even saying you need to follow it, the parent just says, we don't care, you're gonna follow whatever we say. Why are people like that? Like, if a teenager can think about this, can't a fully grown adult too? Also, why, like, there's just so many useless rules that, you know, Indian parents in general, or even just parents in general have that are just like overlooked by so many people. And then those teenagers are gonna grow into those adults and become the exact same type of parents their parents were and they won't even realize it. And then the cycle continues and it just won't ever stop because they can always just say it used to be the same for us back in the past. So what if it was the same way back in the past? It's a new generation. I'm pretty sure Gen Z is the only one that's, you know, speaking up about this because all the other gens have just been suppressed.

Fortunately, my parents aren’t like this. They understand that I am a teenager and that I am undergoing hormonal changes and they let me express my views. My mom especially. She always says that if there’s anything you need to tell me come up and I’m not gonna judge anything and she doesn’t judge anything. Obvs if smh is wrong, she does correct did. She just acts like a supportive figure like how every parent should be. Why can’t all parents be like this? Even my father is very understanding about this.

Will updating to 26.5 be worth it?

I have a 13P. I'm pretty sure everyone noticed a drop in battery life and overall performance on 26.4 in comparison to 26.3. To anyone who is on the RC or in the next few days, is actually on 26.5, is it worth it?

EDIT: for people who have already updated to the RC or 26.5 itself

So I've had my first MacBook Air M5 13" for about 1.5 months now, and I have nothing to complain about. The battery is solid, the processing is perfect, and the software ui is just magical. Yet I've heard people complain that they don’t like it. Why is it so? I love macOS. I think it’s pretty optimised and free of malware and all that promotional stuff that you can still see in Windows laptops at the same price range. The AI stuff is also not forced down your throat like Copilot is.

I'm in tenth grade rn and im into older girls. Like maybe 1-2 years older than me or more. Same age is fine too. Just not younger. I'm disgusted when senior boys date junior girls and will never do such a thing.

The question arises now that how do you approach someone older than you like this? Obvs normal introduction and blah blah blah, but how do you ask for a relationship/commitment?

I have used AirPods Pro 1. The microphone on the left one is damaged. Some other issues also dont allow the use of ANC or Transparency. Sound quality remains unchanged. Seal is great. Don't have old box or ear-tips. All others things are good. Expected price?

EDIT: should I just recycle them instead?
