Stuck choosing between curved vs flat monitors for triple setup (G50F vs G55C)

I’m trying to build a triple monitor sim racing / gaming setup and I’m stuck between going with curved or flat screens.

The two monitors I’m considering are:
Samsung 32” Odyssey G5 G50F (QHD, 180Hz, Fast IPS, flat)
Samsung 32” Odyssey G55C (QHD, 165Hz, VA panel, 1000R curved)

I keep seeing people say curved monitors are better for immersion, especially for sim racing, but others say flat is better because “curved causes image distortion.” I’m honestly confused because I don’t really understand what that means or if it’s even true in real use.

For context:
I’m running a Podium 1 / ASR 1 freestanding triple monitor mount

Space and budget aren’t really an issue

I just want to know what’s actually better for a triple monitor setup: flat or curved? And if curved really causes any real image distortion or if that’s just something people say online.

Any real experience or advice would help a lot.

Flat monitors or curved monitors

What is actually better for a triple monitor sim racing setup flat screens or curved monitors and how do they compare in terms of immersion, image accuracy, and ease of setup? Also, is 32 inches really the ideal or “perfect” size for a triple monitor racing rig, or are there better sizes depending on how far you sit from the screens, and also what’s better integrated mount or free standing

Anyone here used the TRX seat? How is it for long races?

Someone is selling me their Alpine TRX seat for $275. I’m planning to use it as a GT-style seat since it supports that setup, but I just wanted to ask if anyone here has owned it or sat in it. Is it comfortable for long sessions or just in general use?

Pedals stuck on 1-2 after releasing them

I’m trying to figure out if this is an LMU issue or if anyone else has seen this.

I’m using Simagic P1000 pedals. In SimPro, both the throttle and brake return to 0 perfectly when released. I also tested in ACC and both pedals go straight back to 0 every time, even when I release them quickly from 100%.
The issue only happens in Le Mans Ultimate.
In LMU, if I press the throttle or brake to 100% and let go, sometimes the input goes to 0 and then jumps back up to 1-2%.

I can see it on the LMU pedal bars and on my telemetry overlay. Sometimes it sits at 1%, sometimes 2%.
What’s confusing me is:
SimPro shows 0
ACC shows 0
LMU is the only place where I see it
The pedals are brand new

I can repeatedly test this in ACC and the issue doesn’t happen
Has anyone else experienced LMU showing small throttle or brake inputs when other sims and SimPro show a clean zero?

If so, did you find a fix? Was it a control profile, calibration, sensitivity setting, or something else in LMU?

Evo wheel base P2000 R pedals fitting on wheel stands

Hey y’all, I’m new to Simagic. I’m coming over from Moza because I wanted something a little more refined/premium overall.
I’m looking at getting either the GT Omega DD-X wheel stand or the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0, and I was wondering if anyone here has mounted a Simagic Alpha EVO wheelbase on either of them.
Main things I’m trying to figure out:
Does the EVO base fit the wheel tray holes correctly?
Any drilling or adapters needed?
Do the Simagic P2000R pedals fit the pedal tray fine too?
Just trying to make sure everything fits before I buy the stand. Appreciate any help or pictures from people running similar setups.
