Hi everyone I’m a 16 year old vinyl DJ and I have to say I love it so much. I got into it because of my Dad and him having a massive collection of records to start with so why not.
But I was wondering if I was trying to get gigs in any bars or (if I’m lucky) clubs/nightclubs will it be harder if I only DJ vinyl? Also been thinking about getting into DVS for songs that aren’t on vinyl but that also requires turntables.
If anyone could help me out please reply 🙂.

Mainly talking nicotine pouches here I’ve been using them for years and have not had any problems getting my class 2 medical but I don’t know how it would affect my class 1.
And a general question, is this common among pilots?

I think I’m in the minority of smokers who do this, I roll with king size slim ocb blacks which are 110mm long (I think) and I use the roaches they include in the pack.
I use them for joints too but the majority of smokers I’ve seen rolling just roll with 70mm or 1 1/4 length papers with normal filters like swans.
Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this😂.

Now, before I get slaughtered on here, I have the occasional joint when out with friends (let’s say once a month) I’m not a stoner by any stretch of the imagination.
I was just wondering if marijuana use (off duty of course) will ever be allowed for commercial pilots as it’s something I enjoy doing but I am also willing to give up to become a pilot in a heartbeat.
Just throwing the question out there as I have heard of more accurate testing for recent use being developed via saliva etc.
I don’t see why I can have a six pack of beer off duty hanging out with friends but can’t have a joint or two.
Don’t take this as someone who is addicted trying to find a workaround as like I’ve said I am willing to stop to achieve my goals.

The thing is though, let’s say I wanted to play a gig somewhere in a bar or wherever will they even have turntables I’ve heard most places just have cdjs.
Can’t wait to get into this and better at it.

I brought nicotine pouches with me as I did not know about them being illegal, I went to buy some and was told they were banned and when I googled it apparently even possession is outlawed?
I did more research and had some tell me that airport security don’t care about them, some people told me that they only care about people selling them off so a few tins wouldn’t be an issue.
Can anyone give me advice on this and how true this is as I’ve seen multiple people say they brought some here and multiple people say they’ve flown back no problem, even seen people say they’ve been stopped by the police at the border and the cops seen them and didn’t care.
Is it enforced?
Any help would be much appreciated 🙂.

I don’t know if this is the right subreddit for this but I feel like everyone in my town here treats me like shit like I’m at the bottom of the food chain.
I’m from a catholic town and the way it works (or how I see it) is that if you play Gaelic you’re in with the lads who play it too but if you don’t they treat you like shit (there are obviously outliers to this but most of the people who are sporty in my town have treated me like shit throughout school.
When I go abroad anywhere I feel amazing because I’m treated equally by the locals and everyone has a great time but back home I feel this strange weight like everyone is constantly scrutinising and watching me and going to take the piss out of me for doing something wrong, I understand this may just be a me thing but I thought it was a local thing.

I’m a tourist in France for the next week and I brought my nicotine pouches as I do everywhere I travel, but I didn’t bring enough for a week as I thought they would be easy to get but every tabac I have been to says they can’t sell them because they are banned.

I use these pouches to keep myself from smoking and don’t want to go back but it’s looking like the only option at the minute.

Does any shop sell them at all?! Any help would be VERY much appreciated.
