I'm trying to get a general form for delta in the limit of a quadratic equation, but i just get x in it, which, to my knowledge, isnt allowed. I tried recombining the abs values with x, but i couldn't get anywhere with that.
Lmk if there is a simpler form for the answer or if i made any mistakes
I personally believe that there is nothing wrong with it, sure, when you are first taught ibp, the classic method will prob be better, but if you look at the DI method and know classic ibp, then you can 100% see why it would work.

the answer is i(i + 1)/2 = (1/2)i(i+1) = (1/2)i^2-(1/2)i = -(1/2)+(1/2)i = -0.5+0.5i
