Fuck Seymour

Fuck Seymour

Nothing more. Just wanna make a post to express my one and only fuck Seymour thought to my desires in the deepest, truly, and most self-controlled way. Matter of fact, replaying one single save and killing him multiple times consecutively is still unable to relieve my inner rage. If there's a reason that I will not play ffx at all, is not to get a look on his ugly, petty face. Thanks guys. Yessir⛷️

Will Shenmue be mainstream if released in 2026?

I just found out a FAKE leak video of shenmue IV, and that got me wonder: will shenmue I and II become mainstream sellouts if they were released tdy with modern gaming engines like UE5...? I've emulated both dreamcast games on pc when I played it, tbh I genuinely don't think the controls are clunky( so does it rlly matter?) . The game itself too has a lot to talk about, game engine aside. So here are ma thoughts:

Retrogames r mostly fast paced so shenmue might not hit the spot back then. But for the modern gamers who opt for a cozy/slice of life gameplay (stardew valley, animal crossing etc.) , even the heavily criticized "slow pacing" is a blessing to them rn. What I want to say is that a greater audience will be attracted to this game today. Certainly if we do consider it as an action game, I'll say it's still quite a letdown.

Also for the obsessive details in shenmue, in the era which everyone appreciates and treasures extreme realism, just like rdr2? Will Shenmue's mechanism with every npcs having names, details and settings be more applaudable? Worth mentioned that with the guides and communities rn, the game's lore, backgrounds, hidden moves and more sure will be flourished. I rmb stucking with a clue I can't solve while I need to watch yt longplay walkthroughs to get it, as not much guides I could find useful. With today's community, it might turn shenmue into a massive success, prolly lol.

Graphic wise, if shenmue uses UE5, the way it showcases Hong Kong, Gulin, Japan would be stunning imo. Ppl luv great, and better graphics right?

What r ur thoughts? I could be wrong with that, it's just a random thought that strike me strangely lol. Again, the Video leak of shenmue IV IS FAKE, FAKE, pls don't ban me from click bait or spreading fake news, ion mean any harm or spite.

The Trail series or tales of...

Same as the title. I start playing more jrpgs and love them more, so I'm wondering which series is better for me to start with. I'm a story guy so the story is the most determinant factor for me to define what a (gd) game is.

Any veteran fans of either or both series could provide me some thoughts. Like what's these games about, story continuity, character development wise any positive or negative side of the series. Graphics doesn't rlly matter I can eat up all typa things if the story is intriguing enough lol. Appreciate any ideas and help.

Edit: hmmm seems like the trails series fits my style better. I'm basically jobless (sad but still) so game time is pretty sufficient at this point. I'll have a try soon, the new released sky trails chp1 is better than the og ver I assume?

FFx/x2 HD remastered ps2 face mods better?

I recently decided to start this game on pc (steam), and I've seen pretty much posts saying I should get ps2 face replacing mods for better experience. Anyone please tell me the differences between ps2 ver. and vanilla , is it for graphics? Nostalgia? Immersion? Or what exactly. I have not played this game b4 so "the gd old days" typa thing is not relatable to me. Ion understand. Thx
