Miralax

I started taking Miralax today, after being checked last night and being told that "there a dense log of stool" on most of my right intestine area. The doctor only described me miralax, saying to use the ones that come in packets, but I couldnt find them so I took one cap. I've seen that it takes usually 3 days but I was wondering if a good call is waiting until then to see the outcomes then up the dose? I've also been passing a lot of gas so I'm not sure if thats a good sign or not. Help or tips are appreciated

Is what I'm experiencing IBS?

After experiencing some symptoms and having some pretty bad health paranoia, I'm coming to believe I might be dealing with IBS. Earlier this week (monday) I started having some issues with my stomach, getting uncomfortable pain. that same day I was told to try metamucil as I hadn't pooped in a while, so i took like one and a half table spoons (before this I have never taken metamucil). Not even an hour later I went to the restroom and pooped, but it was normal. The next day I took more, I believe another scoop. I then went to the doctor as I was having mild pain when pressing on my abdomen and my doctor gave me a medication called Nesajar, which I think helps with symptoms of IBS and inflammation of the intestine. He decided to also sent me to do some labs after that. That same night after the doctor, I was able to use the restroom again, which also came out normally, that was the last time I had normal stool. The next morning, I went to get my labs done, and it was now just a matter of waiting. At around 10AM I started having an urge to go, and I ended up going about 4-5 times with it progressively getting waterier. I got some anti diarrheals and took one. Once i got my labs back my doctor told me I had an uti and I began to take antibiotics, probiotics, and the nesajar I was first prescribed. Since then, I hadnt gone until today. I woke up this morning and had breakfast but I started feeling the urge to go and when I did it was watery again with only like 2% of it being normal. I wanted to avoid taking more anti diarrheal but i ended up having to take an Immodium as I have a trip to make today. My stomach still feels a bit uncomfortable, but I havent gone since then, and it seemed like I had already emptied most of my stomach once I went for the last time. Could it be the fact that I had too much metamucil to start? Or can it be the antibiotics im now taking. its worrying me as I usually don't have many bowel issues.

Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with something like this

These past few days ive been really in my head anxious about me dying. I recently went to the doctor a couple of days ago, and have been struggling in believing that my diagnosis is really what it is. I was told i had something that can be treated without any major medical remedies (im talking surgery). The thing is, I live in an area where medical help is limited, as the town i live in is tiny and its just not the best. In may, i experienced the loss of a family member where they had fallen ill and passed away after a few days of them being sick. They were already very old in age, so it also made sense they didnt handle the illness well. fast forward to last monday, i dont feel ill, but i feel a sort of pain. i go to the doctor the next day and earlier today i finally started taking medication for what is wrong with me. but for some reason i cant stop getting the fear of me dying out of my head. i keep believing that my symptoms are actually for something much more serious, and i feel like im so focused on my body that im feeling every tiny pain or movement. im not entirely sure if i have anxiety, but it got to the point where i was panicking so much i was feeling hot and numb and dizzy while crying. i genuinely thought that my sickness had caught up to me, but i called my mom and she thankfully comforted me and talked me through it and i calmed down a lot. she said that my experience could be described as an anxiety attack, and not symptoms for what i have haha. im just feeling very off because im aware im most likely wrong and i know the medication will need time to do its work, but i cant get the thoughts out of my head of it being something serious and it being too late once i actually find out, or me dying in my sleep. i deliberately try to stay up to avoid it, and i just dont know if this is something many people experience as well.

Follow up on a post made earlier

Earlier today I had made a post about me suspecting myself having appendicitis, and I was asked by the doctor to do blood tests and an urine tests. After getting my results back, I took advice from some replies I got saying to check if I had an elevated WBC in my blood tests, but it seems to be at a normal range. The results did come back positive for an infection though (an uti) but im worried that some the symptoms im experiencing might not be related. For example, i feel a bit bloated on the right side of my abdomen, and it is the slightest bit noticeable that its inflamed or bloated. When pressing down on the right side area though, i feel some slight discomfort and soreness, but its pretty mild. after my occurrence of when i first started getting the symptoms (i talked more about it on an earlier post here) the pain didnt get worse, if anything its slightly more mild. Im going to start my medication for the infection i have tomorrow, and hope that it was the reason for what im experiencing, but i would like a second opinion, is what im experiencing for symptoms as of now not common in appendicitis?

uti symptoms maybe? please help

Hi, i came here due to being confused (and mostly anxious and paranoid) about what could be wrong with me. On monday i dealt with symptoms that could be similar to an appendix issue, so i went to the doctor the next day. I was having pain on the right side of my abdomen, so I was worried that would be the case. I was sent to do 2 blood tests and 1 urinary and my results came back with having an UTI. My symptoms are just me feeling the need to pee more often than normal as of now, but I've had flare ups before so I wasn't too surprised. My only current worry though is that my abdomen on the right side feels a bit inflamed and when pressed on feels a bit uncomfortable, but nothing unbearable at all and the pain hasnt progressed. Is this a symptom that can occur with UTIs? Help is appreciated

Trying to determine whether i have appendicitis

ive been having this issue for since monday, and ive been very concerned with what could be wrong. On early monday morning i was woken up to a pain all over my stomach, which stayed for 30 mins - 1 hr. it then calmed down and the pain went to my lower right abdomen. The pain wasnt that bad though, the following days the pain isnt really there, its just a bit painful to the touch but almost none at all. I went to the doctor yesterday, but I was told the pain i was feeling was in an area that related more to my colon, and i was given medicine to get rid of inflammation in my intestine. Ive also been taking fiber supplements and have been going to the restroom fine without complications other than the fact sometimes i feel a bit of pressure when going. I also feel like the area is the tiniest bit inflamed, and the area just feels uncomfortable when I dont touch it. Im waiting on some blood and urine labs the doctor asked me to take, but im not sure if theyre supposed to determine appendicitis or other issues. Im a bit paranoid considering I didnt know how serious appendicitis was as i didnt do my research, so i would appreciate guidance

Help please!

these past few days i've been stressing quite a bit and im dealing with the worst pregnancy scare. on april 27 i had sex without a condom, but he had pulled out. i decided to take a plan b, but i couldnt take it until the 29 due to some complications. around four-five days later, i believe may 6, i got what was exactly like my period, but it was way too early. for the record i had gotten my period exactly a week before i had sex, so on the 20th of april. i assumed it was my actual period since i dont have much knowledge on plan b's, but i know they can change your cycle in many ways. its now june 11 and i guess i was expecting my period to come around the same time i was bleeding for what i assume was my period during may, so im only a few days late. i just want to ease myself from the paranoia because its really stressing me out so im getting a pregnancy test tomorrow. but if anyone has any answers or guidance i would appreciate it
