Brown lizard on a gold Tank — yes or no?

A customer sent me this wrist shot after fitting their Tank with one of my brown lizard straps, and I really like how the warm brown tone works with the gold case.

The fine lizard texture gives the watch a little more character while still keeping the overall look classic and elegant.

Always great to see a strap once it’s actually on the wrist.

Thanks to the customer for sharing the photo!

A made-to-order Cognac Snake strap

Just finished this Cognac Sea Snake leather strap with cream contrast stitching.

The warm cognac tone really brings out the natural scale pattern, while the lighter stitching gives it a slightly vintage character without making it too busy.

I kept the construction slim and clean, with hand-finished edges and matching keepers.

One of those colors that I think would work equally well on a vintage dress watch or something more modern.

What do you think?

My latest leather bag build

After around a week and a half of work, I finally finished this shoulder bag.

It’s made from Mill leather, combining a soft white body with warm tan details for a clean, slightly vintage look. I wanted to keep the overall shape simple, so most of the character comes from the contrast piping, stitching, and the center buckle closure.

The rounded flap and structured body were probably the parts I spent the most time refining, especially getting the edges and proportions to feel balanced.

Pretty happy with how this one turned out.

I’d love to hear what you think — any feedback on the shape, color combination, or details is welcome.

Navy suede on the Tank — better than I expected

Tried a navy suede strap on the Tank and I really like how it changes the character of the watch.

The matte texture makes it feel a little more relaxed than the usual smooth leather or alligator, while the cream stitching keeps the overall look classic.

I think navy works especially well with the blue hands too.

How about you?

Testing a new strap design today

Minimal stitching, clean edges, and a detail near the lugs to give it a slightly different character from my usual builds.

Still experimenting, what do you think?

Experimenting with a new strap design

Trying something a little different with this build.

I wanted to move away from the traditional full-stitch construction and experiment with a cleaner, more minimal look, while adding a small curved detail near the lugs for a bit of character.

Still refining the design, but I really like how simple and understated it turned out.

Would you keep this style clean like this, or add more stitching?

Custom curved-end Epsom strap

Finished this custom 21/18mm curved-end strap in black Epsom leather.

Curved-end straps definitely take longer to make than straight-end ones, but I think the finished look is worth the extra work.

Do you prefer curved-end straps or traditional straight-end straps? I'd love to hear which watches you think benefit the most from a curved-end design.

Tried something a little different with this two-tone Epsom strap.

Just finished this custom build using black and light blue Epsom leather with red hand stitching.

I usually make more traditional straps, but this client wanted something with a bit more personality. The contrast ended up looking better than I expected.

Blue stingray on a Cartier Tank... yes or no?

I was browsing Reddit today and unexpectedly came across a customer wearing on their Cartier Tank. It honestly made my day, so I thought I'd share it here as well. This one is made from blue stingray leather with white hand stitching. I really like how the texture of the stingray complements the clean lines of the Tank without overpowering it. Huge thanks to the customer for sharing these photos. Seeing my work out in the wild is always the best part of the job.

Finished this Gold Palmellato strap today.

I really like how this leather has enough texture to be interesting while still looking clean from a distance. The warm gold tone and cream stitching give it a classic look that should age nicely over time.

Black Lizard on a Cartier Tank

I recently paired this Cartier Tank with a handmade black lizard leather strap, and I love how the fine texture complements the clean lines of the watch without taking attention away from the dial.

I was debating between alligator and lizard, but ended up choosing lizard for its slimmer, more understated look.

What strap do you think suits the Tank best—lizard, alligator, or smooth calf?

I made these handmade leather horse bag charms

I just finished these horse bag charms, handcrafted from Epsom leather.

Each charm is cut, stitched, and assembled by hand, with different color combinations inspired by classic wooden rocking horses. They're designed to add a playful touch to a handbag, backpack, or keys while still being made from durable, high-quality leather.

I've really enjoyed making these, and I'm already planning more color combinations.

Black leather never goes out of style

Handmade Mill leather strap completed.

Clean lines, soft texture, and subtle contrast stitching—sometimes the simplest combinations are the hardest to beat.

What watch would you pair this with?

u/Sea_Wolverine_6684 — 29 days ago

The right strap just completes the Gulf look

Finally saw this combo on wrist and I think the colors came together better than I expected.

The blue and orange pick up the Gulf accents without trying to steal the spotlight from the dial.

Sometimes a strap really is the finishing touch.
