This Buttero Olive Strap is made from premium Italian Buttero leather, well known for its smooth finish, rich color depth, and beautiful aging characteristics. The olive tone develops a unique patina over time, giving the strap more character with daily wear.
It features a padded vintage-inspired profile with cream contrast stitching and hand-finished burnished edges for a clean and timeless look.

Made this strap by hand recently and finally had a chance to wear it for a few days. The textured green leather gives the watch a much more casual feel compared to smooth calfskin, especially outdoors.

I recently finished this handmade strap and decided to pair it with my vintage Citizen. I was aiming for something casual but still clean enough to match the gold-tone case.
I wasn’t sure the color would work with the gold-tone case at first, but it ended up feeling surprisingly relaxed and wearable.
The contrast stitching adds a bit of character without taking too much attention away from the dial. Pretty happy with how this combination turned out in natural light.

A client sent me these shots after switching out the original strap on his Tank, and I thought it was worth sharing here.
He went with a tan brown tone lizard leather, slightly padded with a gentle taper to keep things dressy. The texture is pretty subtle from a distance, but up close it adds just enough character without overpowering the watch.
What surprised me most is how much it changed the feel of the piece. The watch still keeps that classic Cartier elegance, but the strap gives it a bit more personality — slightly less formal, a bit more “daily wearable”.
Also really like how the tone plays with the case in natural light. It almost blends in at some angles, then pops a bit when the light hits.
