Any advice is appreciated: 1965 Mustang that has constant gas smell than burns eyes when driving. Thanks

Hey everybody, I recently purchased this beauty and noticed a problem, I’ve never had before… The car has a constant gas smell when off, idle or being driven. I’ve noticed every time I drive her, my eyes burn for a couple days afterwords as well. What could be happening here? Also she’s hard to turn over, usually 3-4 times when not being driven for a couple days, and I feel like she is using excessive gas. I know 1965 mustangs aren’t know for their fuel efficiency but burning a half a tank in 30 miles seem a bit much. Any tips, information or advice is appreciated. Thanks.

What are some interesting NFL “butterfly effects” that don’t include Tom Brady?

It’s become known that Pete Carrol and John Schneider actively pursued a contract with Peyton Manning after he left Indianapolis and failed. He didn’t even return their phone calls. Of course, two years later, Peyton and the rest of the team would lose to the Seahawks in Super Bowl 48.

I think Peyton Manning in his prime in addition to the Legion of boom would’ve been a dynasty in the making. It’s impossible to say but Peyton probably would have had 4 rings instead of 2.

What are some other examples you can think of?

Me waiting for the Saros spoiler review and discussion…

Just a joke in good fun. Hopefully it’s uploaded soon.

I might be in the minority that I agree with Colin when he says Returnal is the superior game. I enjoyed Saros a lot though.

What are some of the biggest “missed opportunities” in film?

I think the Peter Jackson Halo movie would have hit at the perfect time in regards to both the franchises relevance and our love for the series. Halo lore is outstanding and I believe it could have been on the same level as transformers, mission impossible etc.

Nobody expected the project to win Oscars but there’s no reason why we couldn’t have had an amazing Halo film trilogy.

At least we got district 9 out of it the fiasco.

What other opportunities we sadly never saw realized?

It was 2010-2013… I think it was a running back who made a sappy love song for his wife. I wanted to play it for mine. I can’t find it anywhere :(

I think it was called L-O-V-E

It’s loveeeeee

Thanks

Basically I have the capital and determination to pay off my mortgage. I owe $235k on it and can have that paid off within 2-3 years.

Bought the home 2 years ago.

The market has been good to me and I’m considering selling a portion of my portfolio to the tune of $100k to Throw at my mortgage and that will leave me with roughly $135 left which I can pay off 2 years after that given everything in my life continues going to plan which is guaranteed of course. Im 36, $210k yearly with my salary and rental income from a condo.

Only Hangup is the $10k refinance costs my lender is offering me

7.125% to 5.5% for $10k

Should I keep my mortgage, throw the $100k at it and make substantial additional payments every month or refinance with the numbers above and make substantial additional payments payments on that loan?

Please don’t tell me “oh you’ll make more in the market”

I plan on continuing to invest but a lot less.

I don’t want a mortgage plain and simple and I want it paid off and the market will be there when I’m mortgage free. Thank you so much!
