12k Rank Other state
What can I get in Main Three Campuses(Coimbatore Bengaluru Amritapuri)
Preference for my rank
What are the chances of my getting ece/eee/cse spec in top3
Can I Upload food production instead of chemistry?
It would mean a jump of 2 bands
CBSE improvement Consideration
I am planning on giving improvement in chem and maths. Will they consider it. I have hopes that we will get improvement marks of cbse earlier this time
Boards Criteria doubt:-
In met counselling, if i chose chemical stream instead of chemistry, will i not get branches like cse, ece etc. (I am considering Food Production in which im easily gonna get 95+ while in chem even 75 is borderline)

12k rank. What are my options

Hi,
I somehow got 639 in Bplan. I should probably get spa delhi in later rounds. Is B. Planning worth it? I was already considering giving exams like UPSC/SSC etc in later stages of life. I want a govt job if I take B.Planning.
So I basically wrote the Amrita entrance exam like it was a BITSAT mock test (don’t ask… long story involving procrastination and overconfidence 💀).
Now plot twist: I might actually score decent and land something like ECE at Amrita Coimbatore.
Thing is, I didn’t even research this college properly before the exam. I just showed up, vibed, and left.
Now I’m trying to figure out:
Is ECE at Amrita Coimbatore actually worth it in 2026?
How are placements realistically (core + non-core)?
Is it more “strict + grind” or “decent freedom + growth”?
How’s the peer group and coding culture if I want to shift slightly towards tech later?
Or is it one of those “good on paper, mid in reality” situations?
My goals are pretty simple:
Stable job
Decent pay (not billionaire dreams, just survival + peace)
Not hating my life for 4 years straight
Also I keep hearing mixed opinions—some say it’s underrated, others say it’s just “private college coping deluxe edition.”
Would really appreciate honest takes from people actually in Amrita or who’ve seen it closely.
Because right now my strategy is basically: “I went for a mock exam and came back with a possible life decision.”
Send help.
PS-I am from Delhi
Hi
Scored 225 in Bplan and 241 in Barch. Is it worth it to join SPA/NIT for architecture or planning?
