Looking for help with my VR Gameplay Video

I am making a PCVR/PC game and am trying to make a VR Gameplay video - something to show people what the actual VR experience looks like.

My trailer is all Flat footage and shows the spectacle of the game.

So I really want to have this video show the actual VR gameplay, but I am worried that people aren't going to see this and think "Oh man, I can't wait to play that in VR!".

What should my VR Gameplay video try to convey and what can I do to improve it?

Grew up on Scorched Earth, love Worms — so I built my own modern 3D artillery game

Hey all!

Longtime artillery fan here. Scorched Earth was my first love back in the DOS days, and Worms kept the obsession alive for years after. I've been building a modern 3D take on the genre. It's called MAD: Mutually Assured Destruction, and it's coming to Steam this November.

The short version:

Up to 8 players, teams or FFA

Simultaneous fire and classic turn-based modes

Fully deformable terrain

An escalating Cold War arsenal, plus defenses and drones

VR and flatscreen crossplay, LAN and hotseat too

You command a fortified base, so it's all about reading the wind and dialing in the shot

Full campaign with military rank progression and medals

Would love to hear your thoughts!

What are the best/most common VR controllers in 2026?

I've had my VR gear stored under a rock for a couple of years and dug it up to take a shot at making a VR game.

I have the Valve Index + Knuckles and the Vive Cosmos + Wands, but I know there are newer and cooler options out there.

What controllers are must-haves for a modern VR game, and are there any cool features or bad features?

e.g.

Good Feature: The Knuckles' capacitive grips and finger tracking make it very easy to hold the controller and still manipulate the buttons and stick.

Bad Feature: Gripping and holding both Vive Wands makes it very difficult (for me) to work the other controls.

Thanks!
