While my aunt was on her deathbed in 2018, my mother promised her sister that Emma, my aunt's Pit Bull, would not go back to a shelter. We ended up taking Emma in, and she will be 11 this year! She's such a princess.
Cody was the best thing to happen to my family, no question. He was a proud, smart dog, and was independent yet protective. He was very confident in his abilities and just loved life - he especially loved to run.
I've cried my tears for him. I know I'll meet him again.
