Buddy reading?

Hey all I’m a bit in a reading funk at the moment. My most recent read was ‘Trad Wife’ by Saratoga Schaefer around a month ago. I think having a reading buddy to read and discuss one horror book a month with would be fun! Lmk!

All I want is one good friend

I am so tired of being left. About 5 months ago I started a book club on discord and became fast close friends with a person on there. I explained my bpd and also let them know MONTHS ago that at one point my high school friends had voted that out of the group I was most likely to be a cult leader. Only for this to be thrown in my face today.
I shrunk myself down for this person and let a lot of things they did to hurt me go for the sake of friendship. I never split on them. today, since I sensed some distance, I asked them if we were still besties in a joking way since we speak everyday and they sent this long text saying that due to me disclosing my bpd they don’t feel comfortable because with their autism they feel constantly afraid of angering me although I’ve never split on them. I feel devastated. If anyone wants the screenshot to analyze I have it but can’t post.
I really hate being me.

Any vegans that reside in Alaska here?

Hi all! I’m a born and bred New Yorker and have lived in Brooklyn my entire life. I’m so tired of it here. My heart and soul has always has always yearned to live in Alaska ever since I was younger. I know it’s no picnic, and I’m not trying to romanticize the state as a whole (especially since I’m a black woman married to a black trans man) but I love nature! And although prospect and Central Park are great The only time I’m at true peace in this state is when I go upstate New York on vacation. I’m going to be turning 25 in September and my husband and I really want to give it a go and try to move to either Fairbanks or anchorage Alaska.

My husband and I have been vegan for over 2 years. We know that the available outdoor food options will surely dwindle when in comparison to NYC, but I’m coming here to ask how hard is it to find vegan options at grocery stores or at restaurants in alaska? What are some things I should take into consideration? Thank you in advance.

Nami matcha question

My wonderful husband bought me this 100g tin of nami and I made my latte as normal and couldn’t taste anything. Does anyone else notice the lack of flavor or did I perhaps get a bad batch?

I am 24. I’ve been vegan for over 2 years. I’m 330 pounds and 5’10. When I became vegan I weighed 357 but I did not become vegan for weight loss since being vegan is not a diet. And being a born and bred New Yorker means i always have a plethora of unhealthy vegan options around. Regardless, my husband and I would like to have kids in a few years. And so I’m staying under 1500 calories and intermittent fasting. I feel great!

This is 2 cups of lettuce, half a cup of quinoa, one cup of sautéed impossible meat, one cup of firm tofu, 1 1/2 cup of peppers and onions, wholly guacamole spicy guacamole cup, and a few dabs of forager Greek yogurt as a sour cream alternative.

If you’ve made it this far thanks for reading!

For seasonings I used a little cayenne pepper, dash southwest chipotle,a little caliente sazon and some dashes of Tapatio chili garlic.
