Chalk is legendary

I had been an always an all-natural guy but living in a PG I had to join Gym as the room is so small I'd break my spine.

I had been training muscle ups and last day I asked one of my gym bro for liquid chalk after seeing him applying some....

Never realised how much strength was leaked due to poor grip....here's the stat:

\*\*Before:\*\*

6-7 High pullups that too with swing and kip up

\*\*After:\*\*

12 Strict High pullup without any swing. In fact my grip was so strong I legit stripped off the paint from the bars...

A community for daily check

As per the contents of this group I realise it's for serious discussion only....

However I want a group be it X or Discord.....where I can post daily my regular journey (pls don't say LinkedIn exploitdev is too niche for it)

I successfully started Reverse Engineering and Maldev thrice before trailing away...

I've started again but now with pwn.college and I don't want to leave again.....

Any Suggestion???

Places to explore as a newbie

Hi I'm 22F, new to the city, arrived last week I spent my weekend organizing only.....looking forward for some activities this weekend.

Heard about mixed opinions from Church Street. Tried enrolling into the Founders Running Club but apparently you need referral.....

Any cheap entertainment/connectivity activities (Ik there are a lot in Bangalore, I'm just overwhelmed)....

Also in the near future I'm trying to join a company with a better pay (current company's PPO isn't good enough to survive in Bangalore.....

TLDR; Searching for

  1. Cheap cafes

  2. Exploring Bangalore

  3. Tech Events with free entry...

Koi (Kiit) yaad raakhe yeah na raakhe tu humein(2023-27) yaad raakhna, humein achcha lagega

To the 2023–27 batch: Remember KP-25(E)

As the title says, this is for the 2023–27 B.Tech CSE batch (and everyone else who suffered through the KP-25 era).

Back in first year, we were promised that we'd be shifted to a newer hostel and campus. Things didn't exactly go according to plan. Half the batch got crammed into KP-7AB with the juniors, while the other half went to KP-1.

Then came KP-25(E).

For those who see Campus 25 today and think it's decent, you should know what it was like when we first got there.

* It was ridiculously far from Campus 14, where most of our classes were held.

* The walk took around 30 minutes under the Odisha sun with almost no shade, no places to sit, and enough dust to make you question your life choices.

* Power cuts and Wi-Fi outages were common.

* The location was so remote that mobile networks would disappear randomly.

* There were barely any streetlights. After sunset, the road was practically pitch black.

* Phone snatching incidents became common enough that everyone knew someone who had either experienced it or witnessed it.

* Those involved in societies, events, or club activities often had to walk back alone at 9 PM through dark roads.

* The stretch between Campus 14 and the Campus 13 stadium was so isolated that spotting foxes wasn't even unusual anymore.

* And then there was the food.

Anyone who lived there knows exactly what I'm talking about.

There were days when people would rather walk to premium hostels for food or ask friends from other hostels to bring meals because the mess quality had deteriorated so much.

What many people don't realize is that a lot of the improvements you see today happened because we kept complaining.

And when I say complaining, I mean COMPLAINING.

There were times when we collectively logged 10–15 complaints a day regarding food, infrastructure, connectivity, lighting, transport, and hostel facilities.

Campus 25 today is not what Campus 25 was when we arrived.

It became better because students kept pushing until things changed.

And after all that???

We're being shifted out and spending our final hostel year in KP-5.

The funny part is that future batches will probably never know how bad KP-25 originally was. They'll only see the finished product.

But the 2023–27 batch will remember.

We'll remember the endless walks, the darkness, the dust, the Wi-Fi outages, the food struggles, the fox sightings, and the group chats exploding over the latest complaint.

So whether anyone else remembers it or not—

Juniors pls remember us

"Koi yaad rakhe ya na rakhe, tum log yaad rakhna. Hume achcha lagega."

P.S. Anyone else from KP-25(E) have stories that sound completely unbelievable to the juniors? 😭

Can't even rage-quit 😭😭😭

It's been one and a half month of earning REAL money (internship), and it hurts — like back pain (standing 3 hrs daily), sleep deprivation, no fixed time eating.......

I want to really apologise to my father.....whom I used to lecture on sleep and nutrition 😭😭😭😭.......

Earning just 20,000 is draining me.......Shivji knows what will happen when I'd have to maintain a family 😭😭😭😭

And taxes......they took my fucken 9.5% of my stipend 😭😭😭

I am afraid....

I'm afraid, highly afraid and deeply scared hence I came to Reddit to unload my feelings....

I'm 22 M started my internship with 10,000 at Blr, and I'm absolutely terrified....

Here's my routine — wake up at 7, catch the train by 7:45, catch metro by 8:30, check in by 9:00, check out by 18:00, reach home by 19:30 (by train and metro), work out by 22:00, sleep by 00:00.

Personal Life: My routine is Jam packed and I'm exhausted. I used to be pretty active guy but now I don't have energy anymore, I thought I'd adapt but it's been 3 weeks and I'm still exhausted and can't even leave bed at weekends....

Love-life: I never dated at school or even college(not that I'm awkward or shy, never had enough time, I think if I go intorelationship I'm going to waste both of our time), but looking at current schedule I'm afraid I don't know how to make time.

Money: I never knew how much money I need to continue my current life style. My father never told me.....but as per my scrapping I realise I need 15LPA atleast. But I'm exhausted even earning 10,000 Shivji knows what will happen and how I can endure the exhaustion....

Father: I look highly upto my father but now as I work I realise how Super human he is. He not only gave us a lavish life but also a lot of attention too (He immediately after coming from a two week China trip, took us out for an outing with just an hour of sleep/re-charge because he promised us). He says that "Family Time" gives him this in-human motivation and strength....and I'm over here irritated because I only slept for 6hrs only. Idk how to fill up in his shoes...

Future: I do want to have kids (2 to be specific) and want to give them the exact lavish life I had, along with my presence too. I don't want my kids to hide when I come home from work as if I am a stranger. I want to teach them how to throw punches, how to build a perfect sponge cake, want to teach them how to draw realistic portraits, the beautiful assembly language....mainly teach them everything that I've learnt. Solve the tough maths question with them and so on...

I'm not gonna leave my wife behind too. I want to spend quality time with her — take her to shopping, movies, dates, be with her during her "time", share the baby duties with her, give her the support and company she deserves...

[These aren't un-realistic, as I've seen my father do these for us brothers and our mum ever since I've grown conciousness, I'm just scared if I can continue his legacy....]

TL;DR :— I've enjoyed my life and duty as a son, now scared if I'll be good husband and father
