I'm not sure if she likes me but I like her. M14
So I know this girl bc we are family friends. Ive seen her once before at new years. 4th of July comes along and she is there again. This time, she is very attractive and I like her personality a lot. We'll call her M. However, C comes along and I've never seen her before. She immidiately starts talking to me and I think its slightly annoying but I dont do anything about it. Then I end up going to thr beach with every kid there, which includes M and C. So we are at the beach and im playing shoulder wars with them. Then M and I sit down and theres these other girls who is also knoe as family friends who are trying to set it up so C is on my shoulders. Then M is with me in the water and she tells me they are trying to set me up with C (remember this).
So I explain to them that I js dont like her and there's nothing they can do abt it but they still dont care. We come back and while we are riding back (in a pickup bed fsr 😭) we are talking and it ends up being brought up that im going into 9th grade (she is just a month younger than me, same grade). So she is like "wait... you're in my grade? I thought you were older?" I take that as a compliment (probably not one but idrc). It ends up being just M and I on a couch at someone else's house while we wait for them to get ready for the fireworks show. However we are both pretty shy so we dont really say anything for 20 minutes. We are clearly both trying to start a conversation though. Then we go to the fireworks show and basically the entire night we just walk next to each other and just talk. This fireman guy is trying to hand stuff out but nobody wants it so we decided to go up to him and he gives us this little foldable paper fire truck. I start folding it (planning to give it to her after since she seems interested in thr process) but I fumble and she asks if she can help and I say sure and so it ends up she finishes it and gives it to me 😭😭😭. Thrn we end up going to the swings and I push her and we are having a great time. We are just doing our own thing talking and like eating and stuff and then the fireworks start and C comes and sits directly between me and M (theres space everywhere else). So M and I look at each other like "🥺" and C just tries to talk to me the entire show. Anyways I was gonna ask for M's number (I have her snap from nee years) after the show but as we were walking back i thought she was behind but she was in front so I didnt rly see her most of the walk back. Then we went separate ways and I'm really mad for not having asked for her number sometime earlier. I feel like we really had vibes and stuff so yeah Idk. I sent her a snap after the show. Dont usually send her snaps and I just reinstalled snap for the party for the gc (she knows this) so maybe she wont think too much about the snap. It was js the unit soccer field where me and others were waiting after the show for traffic to be gone. She leaves for a camp tommorow and then goes on vacation later this summer.
Please give me advice on what I should do, if she likes me, anything.
