WFH > RTO but with higher pay

I just gave up a job offer that required me to go to the office every day.

Sayang talaga. Okay yung salary, may allowances in cash, and the bonuses could even bring it up to a 16th month pay.

Siguro sayang yung offer, but I guess choosing what gives you peace is also a form of choosing yourself.

Ex-GCash employees, which industry are you in now?

Pansin ko lang, ang daming active na GCash employees here, both current and former. Haha!

So, curious lang din ako:
- Which industry are you in now?
- Did you take a pay cut, or did you actually get a better offer?

Share your stories and give us some hope, especially for those who are still currently in GCash and nagtitiis na lang every day, waiting for the day na masampal ulit ng salapi. 🤑

Asking for a friend. Lol.

I just want to do meaningful work without the drama.

Ganito ba talaga sa corporate world?

Too much politics!

Minsan, mas nakakapagod pa yung emotional toll kaysa sa actual work eh.

Help: Dealing with micromanagers

I’ve had five bosses throughout my career.

Two of them were micromanagers, and I’ve realized that I don’t thrive in that kind of environment.

I know I can do my job well, but micromanagement makes me second-guess myself.

The first time I experienced it, I burned out and resigned without a backup plan.

Now I’m dealing with it again, and honestly, it’s mentally exhausting.

I’m genuinely wondering: is resigning and finding a healthier work environment the only option?
