This car has been amazing, but it just threw a code for a cat replacement, my thought is if I'm replacing it I might as well get higher flow cats. As far as I've read you have to tune the car, at that point would it be worth putting a smaller pulley on as well?
This bike only wants to go one speed and that's fast.
I just put new shims in my XCF 450, after a test ride I did an oil change, only to see glitter in the oil, it's non ferrous. I assume this isn't normal after that sort of repair.
So far this car has been pretty dang enjoyable, it seems to blend the experience of a GT car with a sports car quite nicely. While it's not the V8 it makes all the right sounds and has plenty of usable power. My main critique is the center steering feel is a little more vague than I would like. Over all the F-type feels and looks like a proper Jag and will hopefully be come a future classic.
I'm pretty sick of the incredibly dim factory headlights on this car, since one of them is damaged I think I'm going to cut it apart and see if I can retrofit a led option. I'm looking for any suggestions for a 4 inch round light to replace the projector that has a high and low beam and a decent spread pattern.
I was shimming my valves and saw this wear,
would you all run it or replace it?
166k on the motor with the usual WRX usage so driven hard but maintained, new Forrester struts with King Springs a new stage two clutch, hawk pads and relatively new rotors. I'm debating whether to keep it and drive it into the ground and send it to the scrap heap. I assume nobody pays anything for these anymore and the most I could get is around $4k
Great spring ride on the ol' girl, starting to find the benefits and weaknesses of a 450 as a woods/enduro bike. Overall I couldn't be more pleased with this setup.
