This may sound odd, but I am kinda new to Pimax VR and Reshade. I was using reshade with DCS on monitor using direct X 11 and everything was fine. When I went to VR in DCS, I could not get it to go to the headset. It kept going to the monitor. When I reinstalled reshade including Open XR, it would go to the headset just fine. But if I wanted to go back to the monitor (example: watching a replay), I would have to reinstall Reshade with Direct X 11. Go back to the headset, have to reinstall reshade with Open XR. Anyone know a fix for this or a setting to deal with this? I did install both direct X 11 and Open XR at the same time, but DCS still would not go to the headset. Please keep in mind I am kind of new to this... Thank you for any ideas you might have...

I have a question about my soon to come motherboard swap. I am currently running a ASUS Strix X670-E F mobo. I will be swapping out to a ASUS X870E Dark Hero mobo. Most of the hardware will not change, except maybe the AIO. Currently running a Lian Li Galahad 360 AIO, but unsatisfied with the idle temps on my 9950x3d. Will be carrying over the 64 gbs (2x32) and Astral 5090, 2 Nvme's and Lian Li fans. My question is when changing from a X670E chipset to a X870E chipset, do you think Windows will be able to handle it without a reinstall if I just update the BIOS and the chipset drivers once the swap is complete? I am hoping I will not have to reinstall... Anyone been thru this yet? Any insight or examples of your experience with this process is greatly appreciated...

A couple of questions please.. I have currently 6 reverse intake fans. Uni TL Infinity fans of which 3 are LCD screens. Also the Lian Li AIO with 3 pushing exhaust fans installed. These are all wired with the Lian Li hub that came with the fans and the AIO running off the MB headers. All are running thru L-Connect software and seem to be running fine. I need to add a fan and was wondering if I have to add a wired fan or can you mix wired with wireless in the same setup please? Also will be doing an upgrade soon and was thinking of putting in the Hydroshift ll 360TL S. Can I add the Hydroshift wireless and still keep the wired fans or do I have to convert all of the fans to wireless please? And do you use just a single dongle for multiple groups of fans? So the AIO plus 6 intake and one exhaust. Would they all use a single wireless dongle? And can I attach the dongle internally to the Lian Li PWM/USB2 hub I have attached to my Lian Li Edge 1200? Hello all of you PCVR enthusiasts here on Reddit. I have what I think may be an unusual issue with my brand new Pimax Crystal Super MOLED 8K headset. I have tried searching Reddit for anyone else having this issue and have not found one yet.

After plugging everything in and installing the newest Pimax Play software, everything seemed to be working correctly. Then I started hearing that familiar sound of a device disconnecting and reconnecting to the PC. Of course, I was wearing the headset at the time, so I was never able to see any messages pop up on the screen while hearing these sounds, so I was kind in the dark about what may be happening. It seemed kind of random as far as timing goes.

Then it started happening more and more frequently. I started to realize it was happening a lot as I was either putting the headset on or off , or making adjustments to it while wearing it. So, I started watching the Pimax Play software as I was handling the headset and I realized that not only was the USB connection dropping, but the DP connection was also dropping. It would drop, then reconnect several times as I was handling the headset. Once I put it down on the desk, it would become stable again.

I did unplug the cable from the headset per Pimax recommendation and replug it in, and the connection at the headset seems very snug and fit as it should. It seems that a faulty cable would be very rare, but it could happen I guess. I did take a video of this happening and sent it to Pimax. I am currently waiting for a response on this. I was just wondering if anyone else is having any similar issues and what they were able to do about it.

If anyone has experienced similar connection issues, let me know and maybe we can compare our issues and see if we can narrow down what is going on.
