Intimidation by RWA, possible resolutions and advice?

I'm (35M) living alone as a tenant in a pretty big gated society. Recently on the society app there was a post by an owner asking about some charges being levied by RWA. I had then commented below that there is lack of transparency in these funds being collected and some action should be taken, suggesting that we should involve police.

Today, out of nowhere the society president along with some other members of the committee showed up at my doorstep and started abusing me, cussed me out and told me to mind my own business and not interfere in society matters. They were on the verge of physical violence, with the president constantly in my face and his lackeys constantly threatening that who am I to adk questions. That I'm a tenant so just stay quiet or get out of here, etc.

I don't want to disclose too many specifics to avoid doxxing myself but I'm debating whether or not to get police involved or not. Is it even worth it? Welcome any thoughts on the matter. I'm not a localite and don't know enough Kannada to have full blown conversations.

Advice on International Driving Permit (IDP) for solo trip to Malaysia

I'm planning a solo trip to Malaysia soon and would like to have the option of renting a 2-wheeler while I'm there, specifically for Langkawi.

It's a tight trip with 3 days in Langkawi for which I read that Grab/cars might be too expensive since the places of interest are too far apart and availability might be an issue. So I have a few questions that I thought reddit might help me with.

  1. I have an MCWG license, so is it going to be worthwhile to take an IDP to rent a scooty there? I'm not worried much about other cities since I see that public transport/walking is viable.

  2. How much will it realistically cost and where to get it in Bangalore?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I think I'm on the right track to 1 Cr

Hopefully I'll live through all the wars, e20s and monsoon floods to enjoy some of this in a nice quiet corner of life.

34 M, been at it for just over 6 years now, started just before COVID.
