So, I live in Falls and now that it’s nice out, downtown is overflowing with people on all forms. I walk my dog down there for his evening walk. HOWEVER, lately we’ve been getting nearly hit by kids riding on the sidewalks on their motorbikes. My dog is also reactive and they all scare him every time they race past him.

I’ve yelled at them several times that they need to be riding in the street or walk the bikes on the sidewalks.

Was I wrong?

I’m currently on suspension from work for something minor. Yes, I was at fault, I can admit it. However, this punishment is FAR greater than the crime. We’re union, so I’ll be fine. My mom called today to check in, and I told her that starting today, my fourth day, the company HAS to start paying me my regular pay, since they’re not letting me work.

“If you had just set aside a little bit every paycheck, this wouldn’t be so bad. Even $10!”

“Ma, hard to save a lot when my rent is currently over 2/3 of a single paycheck.”
