Kennedy Center says it's on the brink of bankruptcy, might close as early as Tuesday
So, let me make sure I am following this:
- The Kennedy Center might shut down as early as tomorrow because it's on the brink of bankruptcy
- Trump is the President of the board, and so he has a fiduciary duty to keep it running
- Trump has said he is the only person who can fundraise at such massive scale as is allegedly needed, BUT
- He will only do it if his name is on the building?
Am I the only one who is seeing this?

$88k for a selfie at GOP Convention
Besides the fact that they’re reportedly charging $88k for a selfie with Trump, I’ve heard that this convention is shaping up to be a nightmare. Those that have been invited mostly aren’t attending, and others who should have been invited (CPAC members, TPUSA members) say it’s crickets.
Sounds like an expensive and ill-attended waste of time.

Coincidence or . . . ?
Maybe this is coincidence, but also maybe it's not.
On Friday, People reported on a civil lawsuit filed by a Navy Reserve officer working as a civilian engineer who alleged that she was raped while aboard a Navy ship. The case was dismissed, with the Labor Department determining that the officer’s complaint should be considered a workers’ compensation claim. On Monday, the Navy posted a job for a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC). This is not a new job in the military, but it IS interesting that it posted 3 days after the story ran, and it does leave me wondering how long this job has been sitting empty . . .
