I can’t hit the broad side of a barn with my Bodyguard 2.0

So I picked up a BG 2.0 Carry comp a while back when I found one at a steal of a price. I typically carry either a P365 X macro or my trusty 19. I have large hands in the way of long fingers and am right handed. I am a “fairly” proficient shooter.

For the life of me I cannot seem to shoot the Bodyguard straight. At 10 yards nearly all of my shots are left by like 6-7”. I feel like it’s my grip, because I have no where for my support hand to go, if I make room, the slide bites my right thumb, so sometimes I try a cup grip and today I even tried just holding my wrist with my support hand.

So I come to you, wise ones, do you grip it differently? I don’t want to say my hands are too big since I watch guys like Honest Outlaw shoot them perfectly.

Stock repair advice

Hi all,

I recently picked up a series 30 Toyo Kogyo 99. I’m looking for some advice on these cracks in the stock and how you all would go about repairing it. It looks to have been previously repaired, but I can get a little separation towards the end of the crack, is it worth trying to undo the initial repair to redo it?

Finally, will a repair ruin the finish and mean I’ll need to refinish the entire stock?

Thank you, feet included for tax purposes

2025 non B&O Subwoofer Advice

I’m adding Additive’s (Gearshade) 10” enclosure to my 4 door Bronco soon, planned on running Kicker CompRT 10 and 500.1 amp.

Trying to wrap my head around a few things with this planned install.

So, with the factory amp input being A2B the two main options seem to be to tap the factory amp output or the kick panels. I’m losing the mounting location for the factory amp and already adding the 500.1 to the driver side

So, I’m curious if anyone has had success deleting the factory amp and sub altogether. Would use one of the PlugNPlay kits to deal with roll off etc.

Or, if anyone has had success mounting the factory amp and 500.1 on the drivers side.

And if I’m dead wrong about anything, forgive me, this will be my first audio venture.

Front 6100’s

So, I have a Non SAS Badlands. I added a winch to the front and lost about an inch. Added the Zone 1.5” level and it looks great and level. The issue I have is it kind of ruined the ride especially in the front end. I’ve considered swapping in a set of 6100 and I have a set for the front. Has anyone just replaced the front’s? Would this feel better than my current relatively harsh front end. Or is it worth getting a set for the rear too. I’m on 33’s currently and will eventually move up to 35/37 and do a larger lift then.

Pic for attention.

New (CPO) Car Day! B5 Ultimate

My wife finally got her dream car today after 10 years in her Mazda 3 hatchback. We started looking at cars back in November (with the plan to buy in April/May) as she was finally finished with school.

We looked at pretty much everything in the compact crossover segment, the Volvo was her first luxury brand back in January, after that we looked Japanese, then German and American. Finally, one day after Audi/Mercedes/Porsche, we decided to stop back by Volvo. And now here we are.

24 XC60 B5 Ultimate AWD Dark Theme w/ extended CPO

The seats are amazing, the ride, even on 22’s is a great blend of comfort/athletic. And the styling inside and out is our favorite in the segment.

For other owners with big dogs, where do you put them? We have a very active 1 year old Golden and worried about her tearing up the back seat/center console.

We have yet to use CarPlay, the native system (Google Maps, Spotify) has worked well so far we don’t really see the need.

Day Trip to Pisgah

I’ll be passing through Brevard tomorrow and looking for a ride recommendation. It’s been a few years since I’ve last ridden there. I have done Bennett’s gap, Kitsuma, and some DuPont state forest. Bennett’s was easily my favorite of the bunch, I love the techy aspect of it. Looking for a solid 2-3 hour ride. I’ve considered Avery Creek, Black Mountain and Pilot Rock(cove?). And if I’m missing anything please feel free to recommend!
