Camping in the Peak District this weekend and the night time temps are dropping to single figures and where we are camping I expect will be even cooler still.
What are the best tips to keep them warm?

First time camping and forgot to but something to lift my stove off the grass. What should I buy? Don’t fancy lugging a table with all the other stuff, are there any good heat blankets or similar?
Long story short…. Wife’s birthday often gets forgotten between the kids birthdays. I want to attempt a cake for her instead of buying one.
I’m a bit of a perfectionist though so should I try buying one of the below or going free hand? Any suggestions or tips welcome.

We generally spend what we earn although that includes:
1600 pension contributions monthly (includes employers contributions)
500 sharesave contributions
But we live well. Eat well. Holidays. Days out. Don’t check the cost of supermarket shopping etc. if we want something we buy it.
I’d love to RE. I know there will be inheritances coming at some point and parents starting to plan for CGT but that doesn’t factor into my plans due to unknown timings and amounts etc.
Ideally id have no mortgage but it’s reducing fine (until we remortgage in 2027).
