Should I select ETE here or not?

I hope seniors will help

I can get comfortably in ECE/ETE of this college and iam from Telangana state

My questions are these

1)First I thought of myself like I will choose CSE at any cost but later realised actually I have strong interest towards ECE subjects also so

Could I study CSE on my own alongside this

I mean it is one of hardest engineering courses right

How is the difficulty level and can we manage time to self learn?

2)I listened that each hostel room is shared by 5

So is it like rooms are bigger or really cramped or it is only for 1st year sort of situation

3)How is coding culture,clubs,etc and all of that

4)Are classes on everyday from 9:30 to 5:30 5 days per week or have gaps in middle

Because by that i should prioritise my choice of ECE against CSE if time is there fine if not then I will choose some lower NIT CSE like iam getting NIT Agartala CSE also

5)How are co curricular activities like sports,etc

6)How are events

7)How are facilities like classrooms,hostels,sports,gym,etc

Are they good or not

8)Can any ECE guy sit for CSE placements almost(ofc CGPA condition should be met otherwise) because my i terests are aligning CSE but my goals are heavily inclined towards CSE where having ECE will amplify mybskills towards my goal

9)what is the difference between ECE in other NITs vs ETE in IIEST?

I hope 3rd or 4th year seniors will reply me since 2nd year seniors can't because 1st year is same for everyone and they can't say difference between CSE &ECE curriculum

I initially posted one mentioning my rank and all circumstances and asking to whether join or not

And among 3 comments I got 2 of them just mentioned ragging

And I mentioned my state also TELANGANA and they said specifically like ragging is prelevant in telugus mostly and most of them are STs and they treat you like servants and make them wear what they want and so many things

These indicating like not enough good peer culture (since STs can get seat for way less marks than general or OBC NCL or EWS) and not good student culture which I should consider because of I choose this iam sacrificing and coming to a college 2000kms apart and in that scenario can't afford to bad student culture ragging etc

So this is sincere request to any ody studying in college to say on-ground reality of this

And don't say pick another college then I can't because I wanna do only CSE because I genuinely love it and this is best among what can I get

I hope seniors studying this college will help me deciding

Iam from Telangana and got 98.2%ile and 28k CRL and 7.8k OBC NCL category ranks in JEE MAINS and my jee advanced got me 71 marks so no use of it and my choice is my mains only for now

And I'm interested only in CSE though genuinely not like crowd following or maybe

I mean for now I can't see myself studying another branch like ECE /EEE type ones

Then the best of my available options are NIT-A that too in CSAB not in JoSAA

So I hope seniors would answer this question

Should I join or not

I mean north eastern NITs have an impression of not so good NITs right

So instead of going with elders who think they know but it is very little and you as students have on ground reality of the college

And if you are asking about what other colleges i can get through other exam I written only TG EAPCET and got like 5887 rank and BC-B

And I beleive NITs have brand and they are National institutes whether they are north eastern and irrespective of its impression among other NITs

And NITs give a brand that even TG #1 college can't give if we want to try off-campus placements

Many persons are saying actively that don't choose IIIT at any cost

And I got 98.2 percentile and from TG and OBC NCL

Or 7886 category rank

So should I try for IIITs or settle for state entrance exam colleges or GFTIs or other central universities by JoSAA councelling or wait in CSAB

CSAB has very nice colleges but they are uncertain since CASB is councelling for remaining seats right

So if advanced don't go well then what should I do

1)IIITs

2)GFTIs or other central universities through JoSAA

3)State college through state entrance exam

4)North East NITs only

5)Wait in CSAB
