Québécois... En plus de nous offrir des forfaits moins intéressants que les autres provinces, Fizz nous vole maintenant nos primes de références !

(English below)

Un code promo vient d'apparaître sur le site de Fizz : FUNZZ

C'est officiel : En plus de nous offrir des forfaits moins intéressants que les autres provinces, Fizz nous vole maintenant nos primes de références !

A promo code has just appeared on Fizz’s website: FUNZZ.

It’s official: on top of offering us plans that are less attractive than in other provinces, Fizz is now stealing our referral bonuses too!

My first few nights with CPAP : The struggle is real, but there's a silver lining

Hi everyone,

Following my previous post about switching to a ResMed machine (https://www.reddit.com/r/CPAP/s/9JYQdlRwfh), I wanted to share my experience during these first few nights on CPAP.

My sleep schedule is usually midnight to 8:00 AM.

The first two nights : I only managed to keep the mask on for 2–3 hours before taking it off.

The last two nights : I’ve reached about 6 hours, which feels like progress! However, I still wake up twice during the night because of the mask. I’m hoping my body will eventually get used to it. I’m not sure if it’s the pressure/airflow feeling too high or something else, but I’ll definitely discuss it with my specialist.

A few things I’ve noticed :

The "mouth-breathing" weirdness : When I first put the mask on, I get this weird sensation if I try to open my mouth or talk to my wife, it feels like air is being pushed out of my mouth. I think my mistake was putting it on while watching TV in bed. Now, I wait until I’m actually ready to fall asleep before putting it on, which helps a bit.

Sleeping positions : I love sleeping on my back, and that’s been fine. But I also like side sleeping. When I turn on my side, my nasal mask (Philips Dreamwear) feels like it might lose its seal, and it’s not very comfortable. I’m hoping this is just a learning curve and that I'll find a better way to position it.

The good news : My wife is thrilled. My snoring stopped the moment I put the mask on for the first time! That’s a huge win in our household.

I’m really looking forward to getting fully adjusted so I can finally have some restful sleep. I’ve read that it can take a few weeks to really get comfortable, so I’m trying to stay patient.

Note: I am a French speaker from Quebec, Canada. I used AI to translate my original draft into English to share it with this community.
