Tiny team, drowning in customer messages, what worked for you?

I run a small online business with one part time helper and we are at the point where customer messages are eating six hours of my day, every day. Most of it is repetitive where is my order ,can I change my address, do you ship to country X ,but the volume keeps climbing and I cannot keep up.I have looked at chatbots and most of them seem built for companies way bigger than us,with setup processes I do not have the time for and pricing that does not make sense at my volume. What have other small business owners actually used that did not require an engineering team set up and did not cost more than the time I saved?

I got the title and the results but still feel completely overlooked for the real opportunities. How do you fix the visibility gap at this level?

I have been delivering strong numbers for the last two years and I finally got the VP title I worked for . The problem is nothing changed.I am still not in the rooms where the bigger decisions happen and the interesting projects keep going to other people. It feels like execution alone is not enough anymore and I am starting to burn out from trying harder with no movement.Has anyone else been in this spot and found a way to change how they are seen without playing politics?

I have a peanut allergy and social snacking has become genuinely miserable, what are allergy people actually eating these days?

Going to gatherings is honestly exhausting when every interesting snack on the table has peanuts or was made near them, and I have been exploring options like 50Hertz Tingly foods cashews and a few other specialty brand but I can not believe that is all there is. What are people with peanut allergies actually eating at social event?

What is the lightest footprint travel data solution for someone who genuinely hates managing tech on the road?

I pilot at times and reasonably tech savvy in the cockpit but outside of it I want my personal devices to just work without fuss. I do not want to manage app subscriptions, remember to renew the plans, deal with QR codes at midnight in a hotel room, or troubleshoot connectivity issues when all I want to do is order food delivery and call home. I have heard good things about eSIMS for travel but every time I look into them there seems to be a catch.

edit: Thanks for all your suggestions in the comments. My major go to is convenience and reliability rather than cheaper options. That said I have landed on ArriveSIM , T-mobile and Google Fi as my major testings. I once again appreciate all the perspectives.

New VP role. Inherited directors who mean well but manage everything by anecdote instead of data. How do you force a reset?

I stepped into a senior role months ago and took over an established leadership team. On paper they are experienced In practice they missed milestone comes with a perfectly reasonable story about resource constraints or a customer escalation that derailed them. There is zero real executive judgment happening at that level. I end up separating signal from the noise every week and it is slowing the whole organization. I do not want to micromanage but I can't also let the bar stay this low. how do you shift an inherited middle management group to own outcomes with data instead of excuses?

How do I actually make my website PIPL compliant before we launch in China?

We are about to localize our site for the Chinese market and our legal team just dropped PIPL on me like I am supposed to already know what it means. I understand it is China's data privacy law and that it is not the same as GDPR even though people keep comparing the two, but the practical side is what scares me. There is stuff about data localization, separate consent rather than bundled consent, cross border transfer rules, and storing personal information on servers inside China. I genuinely do not know how much of this is a developer problem versus a legal problem versus a hosting problem. For anyone who has actually built a PIPL compliant site, what changes did you have to make to the hosting and the consent flow?
