Am I Oromo or Amarah or Tigrinya?

My dad is from tepi (Oromo) and my mom is from gonder (Amarah) but my grandpa on my moms side is tigranya (my mom is mixed half Amarah half tigranya)

I’m pretty sure down the line I have afar family and I also have relatives who told me they at woylitan. lol I think I have the most mixed family ever.

Anyway most people told me you just go by what your dad is but I’m not sure about that because that totally discards half of my heritage. What do you guys think?

Homeless sleeping my car then what I fear most happens, my car breaks down

Man life is not fucking easy. I’m 21 and been living in my car in a state I don’t know anyone in and most nights I have to choose between eating getting gas or paying bills/debt. I’m doing DoorDash daily to make ends meet and as I’m pulling into this McDonald’s in some small town in south tx my car just doesn’t want to start after picking up he order. Fuckkkkk, I wanted to cry but recently I haven’t been able to cry not sure why I just can’t. I have 40 bucks to my name and the worst part about it all is my first day at my job is tomorrow. I literally just can’t believe that this had to happen now if all times. I don’t panic though I called up the one person I made friends with so far and told him the situation and he said he’ll pick me up in the morning. My shift is at 4pm and it’s around 9pm by this point so I decided I’m just going to have to put the car in neutral and push the car into a more inconspicuous spot and sleep here. As I have the hood up before moving some dude asks if I need a jump and I said fuck it I doubt that’s the problem because I just replaced the battery a few weeks ago. As we are chopping it up while his truck charges mine he tells me that I’m in a former sundown town and this used to be a hot spot for the klu klux. Fuckcccc bro I’m black asl and I’m dressed like a yn with the Nike ski and all black fit bruh. The jump doesn’t do anything and after he leaves and I moved the car I literally am afraid to sleep just in case someone pulls up and decided to make an example of a ni***r trying o sleep in there town or some shi. Anyway I eventually fall asleep and make it to the morning and after waiting 6 hours and calling and texting bro I realize this dudes flaking on me. Thankful y as I’m watching videos with the hood up some younger guy around my age walks up to me asks if I need a jump I tell him I tried that already and explain to him I suspect it’s the starter moter or starter solenoid. Me and him talk for a bit and he mentions that he could call his pastor and he could give me a ride and I’m in shock but I say yeah absolutely so he calls his youth pastor up and he comes by in a Chevy Silverado and we have a great conversation and drives me to a library and since I have 5 hours till work I just wait there and decided to use my last 40 to uber but as I’m chilling in the library I realize I need slip resistant shoes and I’m in open toed slides so I start freaking out because how can I even let alone the shoes but also a uber to go get the shoes but thank the LORD I had 15 bucks in cash in my pocket so I order the uber to take me from the library to Walmart then to the chipotle I work at and the dude that picked me up was super chill and he was talking to me about how he’s been homeless too before I even mentioned my situation. I get to the Walmart, get the shoes, and my plan was to pay the first part with the 15 in cash then the rest with the money I had left on my DoorDash crimson card. But God is good and the cashier literally just covers the rest of the cost for the shoes for me after I give him the 15 in cash. I never in my life had a cashier cover that much for me the shoes were $28 they only covered maybe 25c but wow GOD is good. And after getting to work I have a little bit of time so I open up my DoorDash account to check the balance on the car and I realize I didn’t even have enough money to cover the rest of the shoe if he didn’t do it for me. Wtffff I would have been so fucked. Anyway I get through the workday and I have no money left to uber and don’t know anyone and the car is 12 miles away from where I’m at so I have to sleep in a grass ditch near by and that was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Fire ants crawling all over me mosquitoes biting the fuck out of me and the worst part was the humidity, I’m below Houston closer to Galveston so it gets super fucking humid. Mannnn that was terrible. I got maybe 2 hours of sleep and I realize this isn’t going to work so I just get up and walk an hour and a half to get to the closes 24 hour business (Whataburger) I use my last 4 bucks to buy something so I’m not loitering and then I stay there for 6 hours. Some more stuff happened after all that but I really don’t want to type anymore. It feels good to get the past 42 hours off my chest. Thanks for listing God bless you guys

2009 Honda Accord Went from slow crank to no crank. Currently homeless and living out of it, really need help diagnosing before I throw parts at it.

I’m currently homeless and living out of the hondeezy, and I literally just started a new job and right before my first day the car just stops working. It’s messed up just about everything because it’s parked 12 miles from work so I have to sleep in grass ditches near by work and I can’t go and check on it so I don’t even know if it’s been towed yet. Anyway enough context here’s what’s going on. (I used ChatGPT to organize everything)

Here’s exactly what happened:

A few days ago it started cranking slower than usual.

It got progressively weaker until eventually it wouldn’t crank at all.

Now when I turn the key, I hear one very faint click from the engine bay and absolutely no cranking.

The dash lights stay bright and don’t dim when I try to start it.

Radio, lights, and everything electrical work fine.
I tried jumping it with another vehicle and it made no difference.

Battery is only a few weeks old (Group 51R), terminals are clean and tight, and the cables look fine visually.

It’s an automatic and I’ve tried starting it in Park.

I suspicion is the starter or starter solenoid because of the progression from, but I don’t want to spend money on a starter if there’s a good chance it’s something else.

What else should I be checking before

** **Could it still be a battery or cable issue even though it’s new and a jump didn’t help?
How would I rule out the starter relay, ignition switch, ground cable, or something else?
Are there any simple tests I can do with basic hand tools?

If there’s any information I left out or if a video of what it sounds like would help, let me know and I’ll upload one.

I really appreciate any advice. Right now I’m just trying to get the car running again without wasting money on the wrong part.

Anyone else struggle with apathy?

I just moved out to from Baltimore md Houston tx and I’m currently living out my car to get enough cash to start another business. Financially I’m in the worst place of my life right now but I know that it’s only a matter of time, persistence, consistency and efficiency before I get to where I want to be. What I’m trying to grapple with is thoughts like “why am I even doing this to begin with?” “What’s the purpose of even getting rich” is it just so that I can flaunt? Afford a nice life style? Ultimately it leads to questions like what’s the purpose of life. To be transparent I know the deeper issue and it’s likely because my relationship with Christ is strained and there are certain idols I don’t want to give up. Anyway this isn’t a Christian post just wondering if any other people struggles with this.

I can’t tell if I have it

I can’t afford a check up and I have no health insurance cause I’m homeless right now but these past few days my right test has been giving me this kind of ache or small pain and it’s growing and it’s sitting awkwardly and it kind of is really uncomfortable and almost hurting when I walk and sit down and it’s really hard for me to tell if it’s getting bigger, but I don’t notice any hard lumps or protruding bumps on it. I really can’t afford to get it checked out right now so hopefully you guys can diagnose it for me if you want me to go into more detail details of the other symptoms I’ve been experiencing I can
