A little over a week ago I bemusedly posted about my club receiving a points deduction for a breach of financial fair play rules.

It was quite funny considering I had been given the random event of my club saying they were broke and any sales I made would NOT be added back to my funds, as Bolton that one was realistic but the FFP one wasn't.

The biggest amount I'd ever spent was 13.1 million on Circati from Benfica.

Many commenters told me to come up with a little story, and we had settled on basically the club's owners were being dodgy and I got points taken for it...

My club actually appealed and I got the points deduction halved to 11pts off.

Anyway, a few months later in the SAME season I get this notification..... And they've taken SIXTEEN points.

I'm all for a bit of chaos and random events... But 26 points taken off in one season across 2x fines is a bit nuts 🤣

Mind you.... I qualified for the Europa league and the club said they were broke and I had a limited budget and wouldn't get money for selling players added to my transfer funds... Now I've somehow broken FFP rules in the same season?

I had to sign free agents for squad depth, this is my second season in the PL And the most I've spent on a player is 13.5 million on Alessandro Circati from Benfica.

I'm sure this looked absolutely class on Instagram or something... 🤣

For some reason, a lot of characters keep calling "Stain" by the wrong name.

Does anybody know why they keep calling Stain "Malcom"? It doesn't make sense.

Hire a bunch of people to help you move house under the guise that it's a part of an onlyfans video.

I've always loved this one by Reese, the complete shock he has gets a laugh every time.

I always loved Bea Arthur's cameo, her line delivery is just fantastic.

Those big individual moments from one player that just stand out to you above all else.

For me:

2026 - Patrick Beach injury time save, that was one of the biggest and most unbelievable saves I've seen in my life watching the Socceroos, we would've been over and out without that, and had we won, you'd look back on that moment as one of the biggest saves in our history surely?

2022 - Was a toss up between Souttars game deciding block out of nowhere, and of course that fantastic Leckie goal vs Denmark.

2018 - Probably Jedinak leveling the game against France, possibly the only hopeful moment in that whole campaign, if I had my life in the hands of one player from any country to score a pen, it'd be Jedinak, he's never missed one.

2014 - Ben Halloran has a great little dribble early in the game against--- of course it's the Cahill goal, I'm not sure if I'm being biased, but that surely should've won the goal of the tournament? No one can recreate that if they tried.

2010 - Brett Holman spent a little period of time probably being our best player at a point in his career, and the goal against Serbia was just incredible.

2006 - Aussie born Josip Simunic getting 3 yellow cards for Croatia is just hilarious, but I'm glad Harry Kewell got a chance to show a bit of magic at the world cup, god I wish we had him vs Italy too.

1974 - wasn't even close to being alive then, but I'm keen to know of any big moments, getting our first point ever vs Peru is massive though.

Honestly full credit to Herrington for having the balls to step up in such a big moment.

Dear Cup diary.

Today I woke up early and ate some breakfast, but not too much.

Pim got us all together for a team meeting, then we had lunch.

I ate the chicken, Timmy had the lamb, as did Josh and Harry, Shwarzy had the chicken like me.

Then we trained, now I'm writing this.

Personally this always gets a laugh from me, I also love that Jeff is voiced by a guy that looks just like him and is also named Jeff Fischer

Jack Hendry (Melbourne City/Scotland) The Socceroos and NZ have all either won or drawn their matches, with at least one former or current A-League player in their starting XI.

Whereas teams with former or current Premier League players have all lost games, this is simply another fact to prove that the A-League is by far the best league in the world .
