I bungled the build on these two techmarines because I suck at and hate building. One has a screwed up leg and the other I was high as balls or something and put his servo arm on backwards. Which one of these two would you keep?
Because I ended up picking the Tacticus box up to practice on some minis I have ended up with two of Sternguard Sergeant Ramus. Which belongs in the collection, choice 1 or choice 2?

Ever do a job on a face you really like and then the model ends up hiding it almost entirely?
Why is it that faces look fine when you're looking through your 4x magnification painting goggles but when you take a picture it always looks like crap?
When y'all paint up your lenses do you put gloss varnish over them in addition to painting on the reflection dot?

Still trying to finalize the camo. Tried a stippling effect this time per a previous suggestion, it looked a LOT better until I applied the highlights and shading, now I think it's looking a little muted. C&C?
When you think the model is done and take a pic, do you find that only like.. one tiny part of the model is actually done and the rest needs corrections and revarnishing?

I like the beard though.
Ever think you're done, then take the pictures and find like twenty things you missed or need to correct?

I was recently thinking about mini posts and how you guys view them. I tend to cross post (or more accurately repost) on a couple of different subs but that seems like it could get annoying as many people in our hobby follow multiple of the same subs.
How do you feel/deal with people posting their minis? Only really interested in "the good stuff" or happy with people posting their EEEEEEEY YOUU GUUUYS minis?
Working with red is pleasant to do. Somewhat happy with the paint, except for the white (why does it always end up streaky or chalky no matter how thin the coats?)

Okay, so something that I've wondered ever since I was a kid is why Space Marines go out in exposed skeletal terminator limbs like they were as hard to damage as ceramite, despite exposed gears, servos, and in some cases wiring.
Are these things made out of Adamantine or what? I thought they were regular steel. Doesn't it seem a little off to not wrap your new artificial arm/leg bone in the same ceramite as everything else?
Anyone know an in-lore reason or have an opinion?

Trying to find ways that don't include expensive photography equipment to take mini pics that don't look horrible. Used my most recent Dark Angels, some more Bladeguard (three more then never another one. ever.) and my converted/kitbash Standard Bearer and bought a quick backdrop.
Any tips/tricks? C&C?
