What do you wear in your arms?

So I’m really insecure about my arms. I have these sleeveless dresses and t-shirts I love - but I always feel like 👍 have to cover my arms in some way. What do you guys usually wear?
Upper arm and lower arm ideas would be appreciated

The Mina reincarnation plot - Hiw I would write it without butchering the character

If I don’t mention a difference, that means what happens in the original stays

- Dracula meets Mina when he sues vampire Lucy to infiltrate London high society and is shocked that she is the spitting image of his wife. What once was love in his human life becomes obsession with having her back, making his ‘perfect’ life
- Mina somewhat remembers him but can tell something is very - like an uncanny valley version of a man she knows deep in her soul
- Lucy facilitates them talking and gives Dracula advice in how Mina’s trust and make her a vampire
- Johnathan returns with the kites and a food notebook, which sparks Mina’s memory - the necklace was heard and she was wearing it when she was slain.
- I update her that her past love has become a monster, has like a ‘what have you become’ type deal and feels guilty that she ‘caused this’, which Johnathan immedietly shuts down and comforts her (because they’re an amazing couple and that will not be demeaned)
- when draxula feeds Mina his blood, he asks her to join him which she fervently denies and she is horrified by him ‘you’ve become a monster. You are a monster who now masquerades as the man I once loved)
- Johnathen is willing to follow Mina even if she becomes a vampire, and if she wants to stay with Dracula he will also go with her, and she immedietly shuts that down ‘I would never make you become a monster, and I would never willingly join a monster’
- when Dracula is freed he becomes himself again and gets to say goodbye to his wife and be at peace, and he is glad that the dues won Mina by a lifted
- happily ever after with johanthen and Mina. On their wedding day johanthen gives her the gold necklace Dracula gave to her in a past life, and acknowledges ‘I love your pasr, present and furure’
- happily ever after with their son Quincy

This is only my half thought out take
Many Dracula stories based ina reincarnation fated love would be so much better if they were original stories, but if it had to be in the Dracula multiverse this is how I would write it if I had to:

Does anyone have any recommendations for Vicoriam Era names, specifically from the 1890s?

I’m in the process of writing a story set then, and would like names for women and men
Thanks in advance
They are primarily British however if there is a name I LOVE from a differnt culture I will find a way to include it lol

Dracula a Love Tale - it’s not an adaption

Okay so, I live all things vampires all things Dracula and yes I’ll be the first to admit I like the concept of love stories if the story allows. But upon watching the 2025 Dracula movie, it wasn’t anything to do with the regional? They just took the names and went ‘good enough’. It could have literally been anything else.

Unpopular opinion: Mina being a Reincarnarion of Dracula’s Wife has potential to be a good addition to an adaption however it is often not well written enough for it to be believable

I would love an adaption where this plot didn’t destroy Mina’s character and instead elevated the narrative.
For instance, even if she was Elisabetta reincarnated, she would still be a morally good person who would take issue with what Dracula has done.

Just my thoughts though
What are yours?

What common Dracula retelling tropes do you like/dislike?

And, if you wrote a Dracula retelling, what would you include in it?

For me personally, I find the ‘reincarnation of Elisabetta’ thing an interesting idea, but it is often not well executed, so I would probably include it but have more nuance then ‘they’re in love and it’s perfect’. Mina is a morally good person, so I thinking she was some ‘lost love’ she’d still ba e a problem with the whole \*dracula being a vampire\* thing which is handwaved in many retelling of the plot.
Also, the ‘strange sisters’, and other minor characters - I want backstories and unique identities for the trio and all the men stumbling over Lucy (and give Quincy a realistic speech pattern because oh my god)

Anyways
Can you tell I just watched a certain movie and need to rant?

Please twll me your thoughts so im mit just talking at a wall.

Question about failing a course

If you fail a course, do you have to do it the next semester before continuing any other required courses for your subject? Or can it be completed at a later time?
