The reason I love Pantheon

The reason I love Pantheon

I just realized why I OTP Pantheon and love his character so much.

Besides his own sick lore and that whole Warrior Spirit thing, Pantheon actually reminds me a LOT of my favorite character in all of media, Guts.
And the more I think about it, the more similarities I see.

Both are basically characters who have been through absolute hell and still keep moving forward. They get knocked down, lose people, have every reason to give up, but their answer is basically “nah, I'm still breathing.”

They’re both warriors, but their strength isn't just about being physically strong. A huge part of their characters is their sheer determination. They keep fighting even when the odds are completely against them.

There’s also the whole theme of humanity vs Gods/something bigger than yourself. Guts is constantly thrown into situations where he has to fight things far beyond what a normal human should be capable of. Pantheon literally had his body taken over by an aspect of a god, only to eventually prove that being human doesn't make him any lesser.

And this is probably my favorite similarity:

They both reject the idea that their fate has already been decided for them, cuz fuck fate.
When I realized this similarity I legit got chills.. it's absolute cinema

Guts refuses to let the world, destiny, or the horrors he's been through completely define him.

Atreus/Pantheon does the same thing. He loses everything, gets thrown aside by the gods, and basically responds by saying I'm still a warrior, I'm still me you won't break me.

Even visually I kinda get the same vibe from them. Scarred, exhausted looking gigachads who look like they haven't had a peaceful night's sleep in 20 years 💀

But underneath all that brutality, both characters still have a strong sense of protecting the people they care about.

So yeah, I think I finally figured out why Pantheon clicked with me so much.
He's basically got a little bit of Guts energy in him.

Maybe I'm reaching here, but I genuinely love that kind of character.

Edit: Now I need a Custom skin for Pantheon in idk the berserker armor from guts

I might be interested Two-tricking Fiora

besides my very first game on her which was just pure doom and evil, I had a fun experience playing Fiora.
Any beginner tips on how to pick her up? I went for Grasp rune since I thought it's more forgiving thanks to sustain, but then I had that one pta game which felt like I was smurfing lol. Also any fun high elo streamer otps or youtube creators where I can learn from?

One step closer to Glory 🌟

7 months ago, I was promoted to Emerald. Today, I finally took the next step up.
And as long as my spear points towards the heavens, I shall rise higher on the mountains.

To my fellow climbers, I hope you'll achieve your goals this split.

Which 2 other champs to OTP besides Pantheon?

Hey Soldiers, I've been religiously spamming Pantheon in Top lane for multiple seasons now and while I'm a firm believer that OTPing a champ is better than having 10+ available picks, I also know that a champ alone won't fit for every role in the team.
So I've decided to change things up and add 2 other champs that would fill in roles that Pantheon can't fill.
I have trouble finding the right picks though, so I would appreciate anyone (with a good understanding of the game and top lane ty) giving me some suggestions.

My OP.gg if that gives any insight.

Terrible ping

Can someone explain to me or help me with why my ping on Europe is so bad when I live in Germany? I did all the usual network checkups and "support tech help" but nothing seems to make it better. I have a good Internet connection via LAN and a 15ms ping on everything else.

I tried using VPN and connected to Frankfurt and it does make it better but it still is a VPN connection and worse then my usual ping.
