PSA: Guelph Lake Dumpster

i've been taking my dog for daily walks at Guelph Lake for the better part of 10 years. Since covid the amount of garbage left behind has increased exponentially. 10 years ago there wasn't a lot of people traffic. In recent years and coinciding with the increase in garbage left behind the number of 'New Canadians' using the area around the dam has increased exponentially. I dont think the increase in litter and this cohort is coincidental. I'm all for immigration and diversity in our community - but if you're reading this and you're new to Canada, pack your garbage out ffs. Old stock Canadian values respect our natural spaces, please do the same.

Copper Portfolio

I've been building a Copper portfolio for about a year now. I hold the usual large caps and ETFs with COPP as my core. Looking to add some junior exposure, currently have Western Copper and Copper Giant. Wondering if anyone has any other compelling ideas?

Is the phrase 'Have a nice day' - common in North America - a strange/goofy expression to people in the UK?

As a teen and travelling with my parents (this was the late 1980's) we chatted up a group of locals in a pub in Cornwall that killed themselves laughing at how obsurd the expression was...always wondered if they were just extra pissed, or this is a thing?
