So I tried with the image recommended here, in order to get Flightaware as well as FR24. Something must have been wrong with the image (or else I'm too dumb!), as FlightRadar24 downgraded my account to 'free'.
So I took the micro SD card that I had used previously (and which was working with FR24) and rebooted my Pi off of it. I could then hit the config page at http://192.168.1.210:8754
I know that I had changed my antenna type before trying to run FlightAware on that, so stopped and disabled the 'piaware' service (so as to run only FR24), and then restarted. At that point, the web interface isn't loading. This is (I guess) the config file:
➜ ~ cat /etc/fr24feed.ini
receiver="dvbt"
fr24key="************"
bs="yes"
raw="yes"
mpx="no"
mlat="yes"
mlat-without-gps="yes"
Can someone remind me what to set that receiver type to, please? Was it 'S-type' or something?
I hope I've explained this properly…
... listening to birdsong.
Sometimes, that's all you need to have a happy life.
Can someone please explain masks to me like I'm dumb?
Thank you.
I've had fr24 running for a year. I installed piaware last night, and switched receiver type on fr24 to 'avr-tcp'.
Logs on the Pi indicate that the server is communicating with Flightaware, but the 'claim' page on their website is just blank.
Is it just not possible to run them both on the same server?

Support is being really weak.
Also, emails to them are bouncing as of midnight. Did someone forget to set up a standing order for their domain registration?
I was lying next to my wife last night in bed, as I am blessed to do every night. And my arm was draped over her hip, as I lay awake, listening to her breathing. And I couldn't get to sleep, because the feeling of pure, absolute love was overwhelming.
Anyway, that's it. Boring, I know.
The Jewish Agency is being extremely recalcitrant and I am now faced with the prospect of redoing 'criminal background checks' from two different countries, which is not cheap.
I spoke briefly to an aliyah lawyer in Israel, and they offered a package whereby I change my aliyah application to 'in-Israel', and they accompany me to the offices of the Immigration and Aliyah Ministry, etc. But the cost for that would be £6,000 (or about USD 8,100). That is way beyond my means.
So I want to ask if there is anyone in Israel who has done their aliyah from within the country, and who would be willing to accompany me to do mine. I cannot pay (much), but can buy you a slap-up meal, or a lot of beer or whatever.
Is there anyone who would be willing to do this? Oh, and Tel-Aviv, in answer to the question of where. If there is, I can be there within a fortnight.
Thank you.
