Not me, but my luggage is.

Royal’s response so far has been underwhelming. Two weeks on Freedom for me with… very little. I guess I deserved some karmic balancing for something- maybe this is retribution for the cup holders.

ETA backstory: Was coming off Allure in Fort Lauderdale and headed to Freedom out of Miami. Took the port-port shuttle they provide. Driver stopped at Icon (Miami Terminal A) first and mistakenly unloaded my bag (no Icon tag). By the time I discovered this at Freedom’s terminal (AA), and hoofed it back- my bags had already been tossed on the conveyer to go into scanning/sorting for the ship.

Apologies for any confusing wording, running on caffeine and frustration.

ETA2: 8:40am day 2, Icon has confirmed they have my luggage in hand, and that I’ll have it all back before I fly home… no earlier.

A few years worth of finds…

Inherited a coin-filled lamp that I’ve been eyeing for a solid 25 years. The estate is still in flux, so I don’t have its original contents quite yet.

In the interim, I filled it with my half dollar CRH finds from the past 3ish years. Right around $300 face, with a little more than a 1:2 ratio of 90% to 40%.

Quantum Loft Suites- Two70 noise

Recently was privileged enough to stay in a loft suite on Quantum (8722) courtesy of a friend (and his casino offer). Won’t post photos as there’s already a good walkthrough video on YouTube. The room was FANTASTIC.

Just wanted to share for anyone looking to book deck 8 aft loft suites (on Quantum class, or anything deck 8/9 on Quantum-ultra ships) that there can be a not-insignificant amount of noise, but mostly vibration, coming from 270. Most of the time it’s nothing, but you may feel it or hear certain tones during parties/club events at night. Didn’t bother me personally, but for extremely sensitive sleepers it may be an issue.

Hope y’all get to check one of those rooms out someday, it sure was a treat for me.

Giving away diamond internet days

I’ll have internet courtesy of my travelling companion the next two sailings and won’t need my d+ internet days, so I’d like to give them to someone else.

My intent was to just purchase the passes and manually log the person in (obviously not giving away user/pin), but I vaguely recall someone on here saying you can just go to the VOOM desk and have the credits transferred.

Can anyone with direct experience confirm/dispel the ability to just transfer those credits via the VOOM desk?

Anyone else not surprised?

Opinions on police aside, is anyone else not surprised the City doesn’t endorse a secondary review mechanism they can’t control? I mean, if they let that happen then it might only be a short jump to civilian review of City Hall… any none of them want their $alarie$ threatened.
