I am literally never driving into the train station again

Its like The Purge over there. No rules everyone for themselves and to hell with courtesy. Was coming from the bridge hotel side and in left lane intending to take second exit into the train station when this completely impatient cunt driving a tyre or automobile business van, cant remember the name of it, nearly slams into the back of my car. Then he has the nerve to beep me as if I was in the wrong. Raging I didnt get the registration but im more happy im in one piece. I mean where the hell did he think i was going considering I was driving straight towards the station!?

Im amazed there aren't more serious accidents going into that train station .

Tall Drivers...Sport or Velar?

Im 6ft 4 inches and im trying to decide lbetween a Velar or a Sport. I won't get to test drive either for a week but im curious to hear from tall drivers who drive either of these cars.

Certainly from the outside the Velar looks absolutely stunning. The slim grille, the sloping rooftop and it has a mean looking bonnet but from peering inside it really looks boxy. Im someone who really appreciates leg and head room and I wouldn't like to have me left leg pressed uncomfortably against the transmission tunnel or my head scraping off the roof.

The Sport looks plenty big for me but...almost too big! But if it were a choice between comfortable leg and head room but a car that was too big for your needs id still choose the big one. Im also a bit concerned that the Velar has a reputation for being a woman's car??

Any thoughts are welcome. Thank you.

Thinking of buying a used Range Rover Sport, is it suitable?

After 8 years my Kia Sportage is starting to turn into a money pit, ive had to get several repairs on the coolant pipes, the gearbox and the electrics. It was perfect for 5 years then boom!

Im looking for a range rover sport about 4 or 5 years old, not the high autobiography spec but the hse trim would suit. Preferably a petrol or petrol hybrid as I do a lot of city driving. But having looked at the size of it they are massive beasts. That's not an issue as such as im sure ill get used to it but from a parking point of view does anyone find these vehicles awkward?

It goes without saying I won't be touching one without an extended warranty, a full service history and a detailed examination and test drive. They seem like luxury, comfortable cars and although they rank poorly for reliability I think a lot of that is Internet forum hype.

Any thoughts, is it madness to buy a RRS for pure city driving?

Best Coffee shops in Waterford and ones to avoid.

There are so many options for coffee in and around Waterford that id enjoy people's opinions on the best and worst just so I can try a few new ones.

My own view I really like The Arch coffee and I avoid Carter's Cafe because of how management treat their workers, same with Bloom, wouldn't give that owner a cent after I saw her giving out to one of her workers who was just trying her best.

What are your thoughts on the best and worst coffee? Thank you!

Azkar motors Waterford any thoughts?

Found this place by accident yesterday. Im looking for a decent used cars. Has anyone got experience dealing with them? I know you shouldn't judge a book by the cover but that "office" just gives me gangster vibes. Its a shed that was probably thrown up in an hour! It could be fine though.

I know to avoid premium autos that place is dodgy out.

Is it worth complaining to the council about people breaching the headstone rules?

My mother's grave was being refreshed and tidied recently and we were going to put up some artificial grass but the caretaker told us its a new rule that thats not allowed as it blows everywhere and too hard to tidy up so we couldn't put it up. We also got a list of rules when we bought the plot that the headstone couldn't exceed x number of cm, had to be in line with the general layout of the graveyard etc.

And yet there are several families who can breach these rules with enormous ornate and expensive headstones which are up to 4 times higher than regular headstones and all the kerbing and height rules go out the window. And yes its only certain types of families that get away with this but its complete double standards.

Is it worth ringing or complaining to the council about this discrepancy in rules? I want to ring up councillors who always say their number is available at all times and ask them straight out "how come certain families can breach the rules and get away with it scot free?". Even for curiosity I wonder what kind of squirming mealy mouthed reply i would get.
