what would you change?

27f. feeling super bleh about my face lately. i feel like my nose is too big and my under eyes are kind of hollow. i’m not super keen on filler. i get botox semi regularly for a lip flip and between my brows. wearing only a little makeup but i don’t wear more than this very often.

i just want to feel prettier and more balanced. what would you recommend?

what would you recommend?

feeling really bleh about myself lately. i feel like my nose is too big, my jawline isn’t defined enough (i want to get jawline lipo but just searching for the right doctor). i also feel like my under eyes are so hallow even after undergoing two fat grafts (huge improvement from before, just still not satisfied i guess).

only thing I’m not too keen on is filler. I get Botox semi-regularly.

what would you recommend to improve my features? you can recommend anything I will not be offended. Be as harsh as you want lol

got my trays today!

starting my invisalign journey today! prediction is 47 trays total, 2 weeks apart each. so may 2028 i’ll be done🥲or after that once we take the final scan and asses if it’s done or not. i was actually surprised it was gonna take that long considering my teeth are pretty straight already, i thought it was gonna be a year max. i had braces and a permanent bar behind my lower teeth when i was younger (took the bar off cause it chipped like crazy) but i was so bad about wearing my retainer. so my front top tooth has shifted slightly forward but hard to see from these pics and my bottom front 4 teeth are all wonky. people said i was crazy for bothering with invisalign but i want perfect teeth lol. the goal is to straighten the teeth out that have shifted and also widen my smile so there’s less “black void” on either side of my teeth when i smile.

wish me luck !!

Lip fat graft

has anyone here ever had a fat graft to their lips to make them fuller? I am super anti-filler for multiple reasons. I’ve had two fat grafts done for my under eyes and had great success. I like that a fat graft is primarily natural since it’s your own body, and it’s permanent. Whereas filler is foreign and migrates and you constantly need to get more over time.

would love to hear if anyone has had any success with this, and before and after photos if you’re comfortable sharing !!

chin lipo in nyc?

has anyone ever been to dr. Michael J Stein in New York City or dealt with his receptionist?

I am in LOVE with his work for jawline liposuction. I had a consultation with him, he was friendly, and i felt good about doing a procedure with him.

there is one drawback/red flag for me though - his receptionist Emily Frederick. she lives in LA so she is working remote for him. I don’t know if that’s common practice, but with any other surgeon I’ve been to the receptionist is actually IN the doctors office. anyway, she is nice but she is wayyyyy too pushy! spam calling, spam texting, spam emailing. we will get off the phone with each other and she’ll call me back again not even 5 minutes later. i end up not answering her calls unless i have a question i need answered. she has the same sales pitch every time i speak to her. i told her that a certain month is not a good month for me to get this procedure because ill be going away for 2 weeks, and she goes on to tell me they can squeeze me in days before my trip because there’s “no downtime at all”. i don’t want to go on a trip with the potential of any bruising, or issues that may occur after the procedure. also, you’re supposed to get lymphatic massages for several weeks after the liposuction, so why she would recommend getting the procedure done days before my 2 week trip is beyond me. i then ask her for dr. stein’s availability for 2 other months in 2026 and she only tells me the soonest available date. i have to ask her again for the availability of the other month I asked about. there are other examples, but you get the gist. She is just really pushy and too quick to try and nail down a surgery date.

all of it just makes it feel like they’re trying to get me in and out. i obviously don’t like that feeling because it’s quite a bit of money, and it’s my face. i want to make sure i’m not being rushed and my concerns are heard.

if I do end up booking with dr stein, i think i will tell him about this because I have seen other people on Reddit saying it is an issue for them as well. i actually ended up having consultations with other doctors because of her pushiness. I ultimately decided that I still liked dr. stein’s work the most.

I’m not sure how much attention I should pay to my feelings about her? Like ultimately if I like the doctor and his work I think that’s what should matter most, but I don’t want to feel like it’s a rushed cookie cutter type of experience.

what are your thoughts?!

consultation fees?!

what are your thoughts on consultation fees for procedures? I am going on my second consultation for jawline liposuction. The first consultation fee was $250, the second consultation fee was $100. so i’m $350 in so far and i’ve heard that you should get at least 3 opinions, so that will be probably closer to $500 by the time i pick a doctor. i told my friend about it and she said that paying a consultation fee is “completely ridiculous”, and that she wouldn’t/never has in the past paid it. She is an extremely good negotiator and haggler, to the point of it actually being kind of annoying.

I also don’t like consultation fees but I don’t know of any way to get around them other than asking the drs. office to waive the fee, which I feel like they would just say no? i also understand that the doctors want to be paid for their time, but it definitely creates the sense of urgency when you pay to see them. So to me it creates this thought process of “i already put money into this doctor, i might as well go with them since they’ll put the fee towards my total cost”.

what are your thoughts on this? should it cost hundreds of dollars to speak to a doctor for 20 minutes, if even? do you know of any way to get around it, like a referral from a website?

feeling so ugly, help!!

what would you guys recommend to enhance my features? i don't want to look like a different person, just a better version of myself. you can throw anything out there, i don't care how invasive or expensive. just want to hear people's thoughts. wearing zero makeup here so i do have the ability to look better than this lol. pls be nice🥲

some things i've already done:
-2 undereye fat grafts
-3 sessions of undereye prf
-regular botox between brows
-botox for lip flip
-extremely conservative nosejob that addressed a bump on the middle of my bridge
-had super blonde hair

some things i'm considering:
-lip lift with bovine stitch
-jawline liposuction
-botox to stop my lips from having a downward turn
-botox to raise the ends of my brows
-aerolase laser to remove sun damage freckles and even my skin tone
-micro-needling

some things i wont do:
-threads
-filler
-veneers
-dye my hair again

submental (chin) lipo

i am interested in getting submental liposuction for a more defined jaw line and to get rid of (minimal) stubborn fat. but mostly to improve my facial harmony and sharpen the jawline. can someone who has had it done tell me their feelings on it? pros? cons? any bad reactions or negative effects?
