What in the world is leaking fuel and how do I get it to stop!

1995 GMC Sierra 5.7 C2500 150k miles

So my truck has been getting pretty poor fuel economy and smelling like gasoline fumes.

Turns out this little metal crimp is leaking fuel!

What’s the best short term cheap fix for this before I get the line repaired when funding allows?

So… what do I do about this?

My GMC 2500 5.7 1995 Sierra truck is deciding to give me a little gift today! Not sure what’s causing this… what part should I throw at this issue first?

Hard Cranking & no Gas Gauge?

This subreddit has single-handedly fixed pretty much every issue I’ve been fixing on my new gmc truck I bought to commute me to and from my construction job. Please help me once more!

So my truck, even though her TPS has been fixed, has been cranking hard from the moment I bought her. Thing is, she only takes a while to crank and start sometimes, and other times she starts up no problem at all! But when she takes a while, I mean she takes a while. 3-4 seconds.

She has stalled once or twice immediately after starting.

The gas gauge also does not work, and goes crazy when driving.

Best guess is a fuel pump assembly but wondering if yall think it could be anything else?

Can someone please help me read this OBD 1 Scan on my truck?

My Service Engine Soon has been coming on and every time it does it begins shifting hard. It’s a 1995 GMC Sierra 5.7 TBI V8. She’s got 150k miles on her.

I’m kind of worried and don’t know how to read this stuff, so someone please help!

Service Engine Soon+Hard Shifting

Hey all!

So I’ve had this GMC 2500 1995 for about two days, and this is an exciting issue that I was told about, but I still don’t know what’s fling on.

My 5.7 engine has about 150,000 miles on it, but occasionally the service engine soon light will come on, and it will begin shifting hard. Usually if I turn the car off it’ll get fixed. Also the gas gauge doesn’t work.

I’ve been googling all over but can’t figure out what it could be!

Any thoughts?

95’ GMC 5.7 Won’t Take Coolant

Hey all. So I just bought this 95’ GMC truck off marketplace. There was nothing but water for coolant, so I ran radiator flush for a bit and then flushed everything out.

Next, I started adding my coolant concentrate first before water. I only got to about 1 and a half gallons before it started sitting at the top of the radiator cap and not going anywhere! I burped it, I ran it on idle for like thirty minutes, and then I let it sit overnight hoping air would make its way out but literally nothing happened! A little confused and frustrated, and need help to figure out how to resolve this and get all 4 gallons of required coolant in there.

Thanks!

What is this piece I just broke on my 1995 GMC Sierra TBI engine truck?

I am trying to get underneath my throttle body to the gasket but this piece just crumbled and broke as I was taking it out. I need to buy it from a parts store tonight. Any idea? What do I need to ask for?
