A good representation and commentary on Fallout's karma system.

He makes a good point though. Who are we even stealing from sometimes?

I wanted to ask this question since the remaster is on the way.
For me it's really interesting because for one the combat hasn't aged exactly the best and certain mechanics could be more refined.
But on the other hand the map and level design, the overall art direction, music and sound and even the VATS effects have aged incredibly well.
This game is still incredibly immersive and fun to play even after all this time.
The way the game manages to make the "empty" wasteland so interesting to explore and the individual interiors so great to look at is something most modern open world games struggle with to this day.
And the overall vibe and feel of the game is so special and unique, no other game has managed to replicate it or come close to it.
So for me the game has aged very well in these areas and is still worth playing even for new players. And even the dated combat makes it feel special, kind of like how the combat in the classic Silent Hill games managed to be interesting even if it wasn't the best.
Had a monitor I was wanting to buy. $550 at Best Buy and most other stores... $250 at Target.
Didn't want to buy through Target because I want the protection benefits at Best Buy.
Didn't think they'd actually go for that much of a price match but they went for it 👀
Even better, it's actually shipped/sold by Best Buy on their site but it would have been third party on Target and I hate dealing with third party sellers 😅
Edit: I don't think it actually counts as a third party seller since it looks it's being sold direct by the manufacturer on the Target website. I'm just stupid and didn't realize that's who that was.
Caught this great picture of the Hollow Knight at the Pride Parade! 🏳️🌈

It'd be nice if, in a future game, enemy NPCs would recognize level/gear and respond accordingly. Honestly, as fun as it can be to obliterate lower-level enemies I also appreciate it when they just run it fear sometimes.
Sometimes, it can be interesting to have a quest that leaves you only bad choices. Times where you're left choosing between the lesser of evil.
But that's not really what you get here. Here, every choice is just bad and there's really no lesser evil other than just ignoring the quest altogether.
Possibly one of my least favorite quests of the series, tbh. May not be the actual worst, but it's in the running.
